Texas Tech 31, Virginia 28

It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it. Texas Tech beats the Virginia Cavaliers, 31-28. Incredibly disappointing to lose Reed. Here's your thread for any and all post game reactions.

I didn't think we would come out of that one with a win. Glad to see Trilica get that one for his senior year. I hope Reed can make a comeback for next year.

I think reed will be back.
It looked like a broken leg. It's much better than a torn ACL, tbh. 6-10 weeks with a cast, then another 2 months of rehab with a boot and he's back in time for summer practice.

As for the game. WOW.

Didn't expect Leach to play for the field goal, especially not with koby lewis running the ball... what a way to go!

C. Lewis
Was he inserted because Crawford was ineffective or fumbled?  Looked like a good call anyway.  What a great victory!

What do y'all think?
Does anyone here think that Chrissshlong and the "Number twenteh!" Cavs were overrated?

no
Seriously no. Chris Long is a beast and the Cavs were really good and had a good game plan against us. A few lucky breaks for Tech at the end to balance out the lucky breaks for Virginia at the begining of the game let us come back and win it.

UVA is a nice squad
but there is no way they are the 20th best team in the country

really now
If they're not a top 35 or so team, who is?

I think Tech will be about 23 or 22, UVA will have a few votes... about enough to get them top 30. I think it'd be deserved.

Wow that was stressfull
I agree Seth, not pretty but a "W".  Just looked like they havent played in a month or so.....wait they havent!

FYI I am still ticked off about the execive celebration call on I think it was Wall.  Still think that is a BS call!

Most of the time
we don't remember the style points given in a game, especially a bowl game. It's whether you win or lose and that's about it.
Go Raiders . . .

20TH, maybe...
You have to admit, they've got a very good defence.

So, maybe we're 19th?

GO RAIDERS!!
