Wife Update

My wife is doing great, for the first time in over a year so no longer has pain in her left leg, nor does her left leg fall asleep when she walks. The doctor said that she must have been in quite a bit of pain and it's been a struggle for us to get her healthy. Without getting too personal, my wife had ITP (you can read more about it here). We tried steroids and it didn't work, which resulted in the last surgery, a splenectomy, which was this surgery. We were caught in a catch-22, we couldn't fix the back until we got the platelets fixed. The amazing thing is that she's only 26 years old, but as I said above, she's feeling great and doing well.

Thanks for those good thoughts, prayers, karma and/or mojo. I'll be bringing her home tomorrow.
