Colt McCoy (Texas), Gerald McCoy (Oklahoma) and Brian Duncan (Texas Tech) were named to the 2008 Allstate AFCA Good Works Teams®.

Sophomore Duncan is an active member within the Texas Tech and Lubbock community, serving as the Vice President on Tech’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He has volunteered at numerous hospitals, retirement homes, elementary schools and churches as a guest speaker, coach and participant. He has also helped organize numerous events including the Red Raider Play Day, and conducts chapel sessions for the Red Raider football team. He is a participant in the Boys and Girls Club, and was selected to participate in TTU’s Diversity Leadership Conference.
