Adding To DTN

Some time today DTN passed 300,000 visitors, which is pretty amazing.  It was the end of July that DTN hit 200,000 visitors, something that took about a year and a half.  Now, DTN is getting 100,000 visitors every three months.  My hat is off to each and every one of you for continuing to be a part of this.

As mentioned above, DTN is closely approaching it's 2 year birthday and I decided that I needed to let go a bit.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.  I'll still be here doing what I do, but I thought it was high time to add some DTN readers and commentors to have the ability to post on the front page.  DTN has always been about you, the Texas Tech fan, and about the Texas Tech community.  There are some opinionated and talented writers on DTN and I felt I needed to share the spotlight.

My thought is that each year I'd like to give 3 or 4 guys the opportunity to post on the front page.  I probably agonized for 2 weeks as to who I would ask, so it wasn't an easy decision.  Next year, I hope to do the same thing.
