So I'd say blowing Kansas out of the stadium was even better for the big picture than the gaudy final score suggests. You'll continue to hear about the offense and the "nine touchdowns in ten possessions" thing, but you already knew that. What was different about this win was the Raider defense, which justified the dubious preseason hype against by far the best offense it's faced to this point.

Yeah, this was something to see! If they can execute on offense like this against the amazing athletes UT has, then who knows where this can end up…I refuse to mention conference or national championship and Tech in the same breath until they beat UT. If that happens, you’ll have a hard time keeping me quiet : )

Just wanted to say congratulations...
Coming in, I figured we were roughly even teams, with you maybe having the slight edge. But, with our homefield advantage, I figured it’d be a very good game at the very least.
Turns out I wasn’t even close to right. You guys are clearly the far superior team, and this just further proves that the Big 12 is the best conference in football, and the Big South’s Big Four is so, unbelieavably amazing it is almost unfathomable. And to think; of the six games left to be played between you four, only two have been played, so we have plenty of awesome football to be played.
I hope you guys go far, and congratulations, again, on being the far superior team. Your offense is ridiculous, and your defense is vastly underrated if they are as good as they showed today.
Good luck the rest of the way…
