How about this Matt Williams?

This is probably the best story in all of college football this year! A kid literally picked from the stands and goes 9 for 9 in extra points. Though we realize he is just a kicker, but he is playing on the road against a tough division opponent in front of a 80,000 homecoming crowd. He hit them all solidly and could make some huge payoffs for us down the road. Way to go Leach for once again pushing the envelopes...all the talking heads on ESPN, talk radio, Fox Sports thought this idea was ridiculous....who is eating crow now?

The kid was money. I really see no reason not to let him try field goals at this point. He can’t be worse than what we have.

Raider fans will have to make a hard choice this week: BOTH Graham Harrell and our newest hero – placekicker Matt Williams have been nominated as AT &T Player of the Week! By the way ALL of the nominees this week are from the BIG 12!
