by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 2:36 PM CDT   0 recs

Black pants…good look

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:37 PM CDT   0 recs

Leach's favorite combo

is the White on Black…coincidence?

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:38 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Woods & Batch!

Setting the tempo – very nice consecutive 1st downs.

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:39 PM CDT   0 recs

they’re in a 4 man front, 7 in the box, and running the ball is eaaasy.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 2:40 PM CDT   0 recs

What a start!!!

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:40 PM CDT   0 recs

ELF!

This might be a fun day

by jeffinhouston on Oct 4, 2008 2:40 PM CDT   0 recs

did you guys see adam james in that big h spot?

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 2:41 PM CDT   0 recs

That was EASY

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:41 PM CDT   0 recs

TD!!! 7-0 two minutes in!

Nice play by Leong after dropping the previous ball.

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:42 PM CDT   0 recs

flashback to J Hicks

anybody else miss the fade-to-Hicks?

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:43 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

When was the last time

we opened with that many consecutive runs? 1997?

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 2:43 PM CDT   0 recs

A&M last year. the first 5 plays were runs.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 2:44 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

If we can run at will like that, I saw we do it allllll day long.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:43 PM CDT   0 recs

son of a gun

you guys are busy. Wooooot. Nice to see leong get a td.

Go Raiders . . .

by Seth C on Oct 4, 2008 2:44 PM CDT   0 recs

Let’s go D. Show us what you’re made of.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:44 PM CDT   0 recs

very windy

let’s see how he does with the wind at his back.

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:46 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

very very very conservative defense. also linebackers on their slot receiver

secondary just giving them wiiiide open zone.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 2:48 PM CDT   0 recs

…aaaand it may be a shootout!

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:50 PM CDT   0 recs

mcneill is going to

have to adjust otherwise it could be a long day.

Go Raiders . . .

by Seth C on Oct 4, 2008 2:51 PM CDT   0 recs

They could at least TRY a blitz to see what happens. Interesting to see if he goes that route.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:52 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

KSU O-line

Was really not providing that great of protection. That was Freeman getting rid of the ball quickly.

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 2:53 PM CDT   0 recs

yup. there were NO defenders anywhere near the receivers on that drive.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 2:54 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Reed shaken up

had some trouble on the next play…hope he’s ok

by djollie111 on Oct 4, 2008 2:54 PM CDT   0 recs

Great catch by lewis

Graham throwing off his back foot

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 2:56 PM CDT   0 recs

that’s two on Reed

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:57 PM CDT   0 recs

Sorry…not him

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:57 PM CDT   0 recs

Both pass defenses SUCK

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:58 PM CDT   0 recs

Good news

Is that Harrell looks very sharp

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 2:58 PM CDT   0 recs

KSU D

Is showing cover 2 and then sliding a safety up

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 2:59 PM CDT   0 recs

I am loving this running aspect of our game. It seems purposeful instead of an afterthought. Great, great looks for Tech.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:00 PM CDT   0 recs

blitzing every down

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:01 PM CDT   0 recs

what a baaad screen block

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:01 PM CDT   0 recs

Good call on the screen

KSU D is over pursuing

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 3:02 PM CDT   0 recs

WOW!

What a freaking throw!

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:03 PM CDT   0 recs

Missed it

Wife was talking about pillows

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 3:04 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I hope Prince calls a blitz every play the rest of the game…this could get ugly if he does. Hasn’t worked hardly a lick yet.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:06 PM CDT   0 recs

it’s caused 2 incompletions and forced TTU into a dink and dunk game. we had 3 3rd downs to convert.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:07 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Considering the number of plays we’ve run, I’d say it’s not working : )

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:08 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

by my count, that

was a 16 play drive, including penalty plays, against the wind.

Go Raiders . . .

by Seth C on Oct 4, 2008 3:06 PM CDT   0 recs

GH is floating

balls outside, and that’s still worrisome, wonder if that’s a result of the wind.

Go Raiders . . .

by Seth C on Oct 4, 2008 3:06 PM CDT   0 recs

seesay!

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:08 PM CDT   0 recs

cushion. 5 yards or more

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:09 PM CDT   0 recs

dixon!

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:10 PM CDT   0 recs

1st 3rd down we’ve forced.

receiver was wide open, though.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:11 PM CDT   0 recs

I don’t understand this pass defense scheme at all

by jeffinhouston on Oct 4, 2008 3:11 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

There isn’t one :)

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:12 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

it’s the scheme

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:13 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

against wall.

wall has been beaten up a few times so far.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:11 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Now we can get a little score separation if we stay on track.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:11 PM CDT   0 recs

12 men

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:13 PM CDT   0 recs

Hmmmm…did he follow the blocks?

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:14 PM CDT   0 recs

I hate this…

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT   0 recs

unreal – and put the defense in an awful position

by jeffinhouston on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

… going for it.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT   0 recs

Stupid, stupid, stupid

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT   0 recs

dammit leach.

when are you going to learn.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT   0 recs

Why not sneak?

3 inches…

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 3:15 PM CDT   0 recs

and why does our scat back have the ball. batch has the strength to get that over.

also wall beaten again.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:16 PM CDT   0 recs

Exactly

If you are going to go for it with that little distance, either sneak it or run the big guy up the gut. Get it on th epush.

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 3:18 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

1st quarter thoughts:

offense: we’re killing ourselves if we don’t score on an offensive possession.

defense: Wall specifically and the rest of the corners/safeties in general are being mauled in coverage.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:19 PM CDT   0 recs

next to no blitzing.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:19 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Our coach gets in as much trouble as he bails us out. That was just a bad decision compounded by a terrible play call.

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:19 PM CDT   0 recs

yes. this is why mike will probably not find himself anywhere except TTU.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:20 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I understand going for it, given the wind, but it was the wrong play. I think they were really hoping they would jump offsides.

by NM99 on Oct 4, 2008 3:20 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

confidence in his punter.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:21 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

That mentality was good when we were a 7-6 underdog team that had nothing to lose. Leach needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize when you have a lead you don’t go for it on 4th in your own effing territory.

by Red Raiderback on Oct 4, 2008 3:20 PM CDT   0 recs

Much less on your own 29…TWENTY NINE

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:22 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Review that one…

by Tech92 on Oct 4, 2008 3:21 PM CDT   0 recs

he was down. nice hold on that play: the defender tackled marlon williams.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:22 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yup, nice tackle.

by kayakyakr on Oct 4, 2008 3:23 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs
