You'll note that the numbers above are from last year and because we haven't played a game, there are no KenPom numbers to review. Also, the Keys to the Game are abbreviated and no starting lineups for St. Francis (PA) despite looking for quite some time (yes, I really looked online, for like 30 minutes). The Red Flash are picked to finish last in the Northeast Conference as they lost their leading scorer and rebounder.

Keys to the Game:

  1. Rebound early and often:  This was the biggest problem with last year's team and it would be nice to get started off on the right foot.
  2. Let the new guys get involved:  Okorie, Graham, and Cohad all need to play well in order for this team to have any sort of success.
  3. Run, run, run:  Junior Knight has been preaching that he's going to run more than his father and I'm interested to see how much this team will actually push the ball.

Probable Starting Lineup:

Texas Tech Ht. Wt. Pos. Yr. PPG RPG APG
John Roberson 5-11 165 G So. - - -
Alan Voskuil 6-3 181 G Sr. - - -
Nick Okorie 6-1 180 G Jr. - - -
D'Walyn Roberts
6-7 194 F So. - - -
Darko Cohadarevic 6-9 245 F Jr. - - -

GO RAIDERS . . .

*Stats can be found at Ken Pomeroy: K.P. Rank = the Ken Pomeroy Rank; Offensive Efficiency = the national rank in terms of points scored per 100 possessions; Defensive Efficiency = the national rank in terms of points allowed per 100 possession. Numbers in parentheses are national rank.
