Baylor @ Tech on Versus

Texas Tech’s regular-season finale on Nov. 29 against Baylor will be televised by the Versus network (Suddenlink Cable channel 45). The kickoff time will be set on Saturday or Sunday, but it is expected to be at 11:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m., according to Tech officials. … The Baylor game is officially a sellout, Tech officials said Monday.

first of all

lame that it is on versus… second of all lame that it isn’t a night cap… third please don’t make it an 1130. It will be a small enough crowd because it is 2 days after thanksgiving, but an 1130 game could be a small crowd, which is too bad

exactly… who cares how many tickets we sell, except for the admins… sleepy students, out of town students, Baylor, etc. I feel if we are undefeated it will be rocking… otherwise im prepared for a letdown

I personally despise day games for college football…a late afternoon start would be ideal to me…say, around 4:00. Dusk, cool crisp air, then night…just think it makes for a better atmosphere for everyone involved. You can tailgate after lunch, enjoy a game, then go eat dinner at a normal hour – and then rip up the town. Whoever came up with the 11:30 kickoff time should be strung up.

Have bought lots of tickets to that one. Be in 104 verse sec 5 for this one as I could not get the number of Tickets I wanted in the better seats.

still a very important game!!!!

No matter what we need to win this game. The season isn’t over after OU, we need to win out so the Jones needs to be rockin no matter what!!!!!! Wreck’em Tech

Rumor has it that if we win this weekend, it will be an 11:30 game and if we lose, 2:30.

I don’t know the logic behind that, but there it is.

Versus, Really?!?

If we beat OU, and get the nod in the polls to officially take the #1 spot in the Nation, why would it be on Versus?! That’s absurd!!!!!! How many #1 teams have ever played a conference game on Versus (perhaps I’m thinking too positively too far ahead, but seriously). You would think that FSN would want to carry the game, a top ranked Tech team vs an “Up and Coming” Baylor program. There is no other game that is going to trump it that weekend. Texas and aTm play Thursday, OSU vs OU is most likely a prime time game, who’s left worth KU vs Mizzou (and that game should not trump ours)?
