Did he even watch the game?
Bruce Feldman has consistently given Tech little respect in his bowl projections. Even after the way we showed UT and the nation that we can win it all, he still has us projected to go the Holiday Bowl, behind OU, UT, and Mizzou(!?!) and playing Arizona. A JOKE of a bowl match up. I realize it's not going to be an easy road the next few weeks, but even in a 2-loss scenario, the cotton bowl would surely have us instead of Mizzou. Granted, these projections are ridiculous to worry about, I'm just amazed that he just will not give us what we have finally earned, the hard way.
Otherwise, Mark Schlabach seemed to have like the performance we put on last night.

I just noticed the exact same thing and thought that douchebag was out of his mind. After the craziness from last night (and all the positive press to go along with it) and already having mizzou last year, I definitely think they would take a 2 loss Tech team over them. Especially since Mizzou would most likely have an extra loss from the Big12 Championship game to ou or texas.

Feldman
Exactly – Tech wins out and we go to the BCS Campionship. With the Current BCS standings and Tech’s remaining schedule, we finally control our own destiny!

I agree…who the heck is Bruce Feldman anyways? Of all the ESPN talking heads, he would be the last person I would turn to for bowl predictions.

I saw this prediction a few weeks back and it said the same thing. I don’t think they are updating it as the weekends progress.

Wow…
I wasn’t expecting to jump past Penn St. in the BCS. Guess we have the bullseye target now in the conference.

Fina...freakin...ly
Ok, I’ve been waiting to say this for some time…and I don’t curse much, but…
who the “F” is Bruce Feldman? And what the “F” has he been watching?
who the “F” is Penn State? After 10 freakin’ weaks of listening to “who has Tech played” and we beat the crap out of #1, where the “F” is Lou Holtz telling me that Penn State hasn’t played anyone? And why the “F” does he get off saying, “But we have more voters in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Alabama”?
Welcome to #2 Texas Tech. No matter what happens, and I predict a lot will, they will never take that from you. This week in football, Texas was beggin someone else to beat you. Oklahoma needed you to get hurt or die tryin’. Penn State needed you or Alabama to fall on your ass. Florida needed you to choke. You have it all in your own hands. The computers and the voters can all take a great big flyin’ leap. If you listen to Leach and you do your job, you may very well find yourself in Miami. Or not, either way. On this day, everyone was looking at you and knew they had no power to affect their own destiny.
That, alone, is sweet.
But now, I turn to OSU, and I will tell you why we beat them.
Peace
... I'm just sayin'
