Preview and Open Game Day Thread: East Central vs. Texas Tech
vs.
vs.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders (1-0, 0-0)
GameCast: Fox Sports
The Numbers:
So . . . East Central University, in Ada, Oklahoma, has no current statistics and other than having a website, I haven't been able to find a thing about them. If this game isn't an absolute blowout, then I will be at a complete loss. Please note that there's no television for this game and for the next game, but that's probably a good thing as I may need to direct my attention elsewhere. East Central's starters are based on the alumni game they held earlier this week. I know what you're saying and it's true. It's sad that I took the time to do this, but this is my gift to you.
No Keys to the Game, just win.

Comments
If anyone is following this game
Texas Tech is up 77-55 at halftime. That’s a lot of points, but that’s a lot of points given up.

In case you were wondering how this stacks up
The most points scored by one team in college basketball was 258 scored by Troy University during a 258-141 thrashing of Devry on January 12, 1992

wow, that’s insane. now, while we did give up 115 points, it will be more telling to see the %’s shot. There were way more than 200 possessions for each team. Word is that average possession time will be under 5 seconds per team.

If Seth will pardon my language...
…what in the fuck happened in this game? I thought my roommate was joking when he texted me the score of this game. I mean, seriously, really? REALLY?!?!?!
