Anyone picking Tech?

I go over to ESPN...all the "experts" are picking OU...

I check out the LAJ..and all but 2 of the sportswriters are picking OU...

DMN experts are mostly going OU...

I enjoy the role of the underdog..but man..this is a bit much. Seems a lot of people have very short memories...

I listen to Williams and Hyatt show often..and I heard Don Williams explain why Tech would lose. It still doesn't sit right with me.

Here is the LAJ picks..gotta love it.

Mel Kiper

Mel Kiper is the only analyst that I have heard so far that has picked Tech. For the most part the analysts are saying that if this game was not in Norman, Tech would be the for sure winner. I think the Tech players have handled themselves very well this season on the road at aTm, Kansas, and Kansas State, and I hope that they can carry that forward. I look forward to being the underdog every week, it makes it that much sweeter, and then for some reason, I don’t know if it is because I am used to being the underdog as a Tech fan or not, it relaxes me and although it may not inspire the team to perform better and with more aggression, I like to think that it does!

Jimmy Johnson (and I think Howie Long) picked us.

After all is said and done, more is said than done.

I think I heard Desmond Howard last week hint at Tech over OU.

It's ok not many are picking TECH!

I still like the underdog mentality. Sure we have proved several things this year but when we do win I think the respect wil be even better. Wreck’em Tech!!!!!!!!!

most analysts are looking

at that 60-2 home record under Stoops and banking on Tech not being able to turn in the same kind of domination that they can at the Jones. Honestly, you can’t really fault any of them (even the LAJ sports staff degenerates) for going with the trend. Embarrassing Kansas at their homecoming doesn’t count for much anymore, given their recent slide, and as for shellacking K State at home… well honestly, who hasn’t? It’s already been pointed out that OU’s home numbers are inflated due to their principle rivalry being a neutral event, so there’s not much else to add in argument other than Texas Tech has never matched up better personnel-wise against OU than this year, and also I guess some Calvinist pre-ordained destiny stuff.

Spencer Tillman

has picked Tech to go into Norman and end the win streak there and go on to play in the NC game.

Chris Fowler is picking Tech in his ESPN piece. He got smart a couple weeks ago.

I like being the underdogs. The losers whine so much more afterwards. I just love seeing UT fans thinking up new excuses three weeks after the fact. OU will be just as much fun. Heck, even the Aggies are trying to get in on it. I guess they never could resist an opportunity to whine, though. Just imagine what the SEC weenies will be like. I can hardly wait.

the last second crap is annoying

we whipped them the whole game and had a dropped TD and a questionable offensive interference call. theres 14 more freakin’ points. put that in your pipe and smoke it UT!
