Shameless politicing

What Texas students are doing is yet another symptom of why we need a playoff. The fact that a fan campaign might have an effect on who goes to the championship is appalling to me. When anything but the talent and level of play on the field have any influence in deciding who goes to the national (or the Big XII) championship, something needs to be done. This is one of those seasons the will shine a bright spotlight on the weaknesses of the current system.
Hopefully OSU will help us out on this and it won't be an issue.
WRECK 'EM TECH
and oddly enough, GO POKES!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

Wouldn't it be wonderful
if some computer savvy student at Tech did a spoof of this web site?
Wes Welker can't be stopped.

hmmm…one scoreboard seems to have not been included in their cute little website…39-33. (a fluke loss because of ut’s schedule and the drunken, unruly fans of Lubbock)
Not that it matters. Wins and losses are all that matter.
Oh, but while we’re on scores (not that it matters), Tech beat OSU 56-20. Ut beat the same OSU team 24-20 at home also….pretty close!! With all the talk of home-field-advantage, that sounds like they might have lost in Stillwater. (but it just shows the heart and grit of a champion, right?)

tech fans purchased a banner to fly over bedlam as well
THe banner will read www.39-33.com and was paid for by 20 texas tech fans.

Sure hate to see that
I’m so disappointed that Tech fans are copying such a disgustingly bad idea from UT. Our family had a discussion over Thanksgiving dinner about how low that makes UT look. And now we’re doing it??? Arghhhhh

Look at it this way:
Having both banners will change the media spin from (Texas has an argument!) to (we need a playoff and let them both in!).
If your banner does nothing more than dampen the annual Texas pity party, a nation will be grateful. (Though we may not realize it.)
