Prediction Time: Baylor vs. Texas Tech

vs.
vs.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders (10-1, 6-1)
- Synopsis of the game: There's a lot on the line and this is the seniors' last game, thus it's only appropriate that the seniors step it up. Daniel Charbonnet is a stud on defense and Eric Morris and Graham Harrell hook up for 2 touchdowns. Michael Crabtree has a special day, in what may be his last game at home.
- Offensive MVP: Graham Harrell
- Defensive MVP: Daniel Charbonnet
- Final Score: Texas Tech 48, Baylor 14

1. Synopsis of the game: Contain Griffin. He’ll get his yards and a few scores but TTU’s offense will bounce back in a big way.
2. Offensive MVP: Batch
3. Defensive MVP: Williams
4. Final Score: Texas Tech 51, Baylor 24

Agree pretty much with kayakyakr. Griffin isn’t thier only weapon, but he’s by far their best one. He’ll get his. Problem is, the Baylor defense against the pass is awful.

Synopsis:
Oops—-hit Enter instead of Tab….
OK:
Tech, knowing what is at stake and desiring to rid themselves of the sour taste of the Oklahoma disaster (of which type of game Tech has become all too well associated with at least once every year), come out afire. Despite a couple of hiccups because of their exuberance, they turn it on and once again go on a scoring streak, forging six touchdowns and a field goal before sending in the subs, leading 45-10. The subs mop up with two scores of their own. They retreat to the dorms to witness the outcome of the OU-OSU tilt to see if they will or will not represent the South in the Big-12 Championship game. (“GO OSU!”)
Offensive MVP: Graham Harrell, who come close to the Tech record with 595 yards passing, 5 TD’s, 0 INT. (Crabtree closes home slate with 12 receptions for 149 yds., 3 TD’s in steller performance)
Defensive MVP: Brian Duncan with two sacks, 4 TFL, 1 Caused fumble & recovery.
Tech wins big: 59-10.

Raiders Roll
Tech’s offense returns to it’s precision passing which opens up the running game. The defense contains Griffin keeping the Bear’s offense in containment.
OVP — Harrell
DMP — Duncan

After last week, I have absolutely no idea who will show up. I hope the blowout predictions are in the ballpark.

Texas Tech Wins
And gets it done early on. Controls the game from the first series on and can put up as many points as Leach wants. I can only hope he shoots for 70 plus as that would offset the oklahoma loss. As most of the BCS people pointed out, that if Tech beats Baylor by a huge margin and does make it to the Big 12 title game and then beats Missouri by 14 or more points, Tech can play for the National Title. That from most of the pundits and even guys at ESPN who were trashing the Raiders all week.
OMVP Batch
DMVP Williams will have sack day from his DE spot
Baylor 10 Tech 49 but hoping for 77.
