Hungry for Some Bear

I am tired of eating turkey. Have a hankering for some bear this afternoon.

Here’s hoping the team gets off to a fast start and gets the bad taste of last Saturday out of their heads ASAP.

iight boys!

despite this being a home game, i’m still at home in virginia so i’ll be here for the game!

Crabtree...

Needs to have a HA-yuge day today

by ndockray001 on Nov 29, 2008 2:33 PM CST reply actions

i wanna put out a scenario no one is talking about...

so KU and mizzou are close right now

if mizzou loses…

they are a 9-3 team going to title game…

if it’s a 3 way tie into that game.. and mizzou beats whoever it is…

does mizzou HAVE to get a BCS bid? or can they give whatever to the other 2 in the south?

do conference champions have an auto bid into the bcs games?

Wreck 'Em Tech!

J.T.H.

by redraidersax on Nov 29, 2008 2:35 PM CST reply actions

that sucks...

so a 10-3 mizzou would get a bid over an 11-1 south team

i hate the bcs

Unfortunately, the Big 12 champ gets an auto bid even if it is a 9-3 team

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:19 PM CST reply actions

I’m having to watch this one on ESPN Gamecast. Versus is further off the basic cable.

by Red Raider in South GA on Nov 29, 2008 3:20 PM CST reply actions

I don't understand what McNeill is thinking

We had mostly 2nd string in on tha series on the DL with Baylor on a short foeld after a urnover. If there is ever a time for a stop, it was during that series.

by NM99 on Nov 29, 2008 3:21 PM CST reply actions

Don't think so

He is religious in alternating series.

by NM99 on Nov 29, 2008 3:22 PM CST up reply actions

Maybe he’s giving the Seniors a quarter?

by Red Raider in South GA on Nov 29, 2008 3:23 PM CST up reply actions

McNeill's personnel decisions lately

have been on the mystifying side. It’s bad enough when we’re playing soft zone the entire first quarter anyways, let’s at least keep the varsity in there.

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:22 PM CST up reply actions

Mr Crabtree

bails Harrell out of a REALLY bad throw. first down.

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:23 PM CST reply actions

Lucky play here.

nice block by batch (i think)

by NM99 on Nov 29, 2008 3:23 PM CST reply actions

He’s had it all year. It’s just never had a chance to heal.

by NM99 on Nov 29, 2008 3:26 PM CST up reply actions

my understanding is

that it’s a fracture, and so it’s going to keep bothering him until he gets a full offseason to heal, since he’s obviously going to start until he’s only held together with medical tape and ace bandages. After that he ought to be good to go.

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:26 PM CST up reply actions

I leave for 2 minutes

and we’re down by 6?! – What the hell did you guys do?

by djollie111 on Nov 29, 2008 3:25 PM CST reply actions

wasn’y my fault. Harrell threw a pick

by TT_ on Nov 29, 2008 3:26 PM CST reply actions

Batch.

has been the clutch player lately.

by ForestFlyer on Nov 29, 2008 3:27 PM CST reply actions

Baylor is confusing the hell out of Harrell

he’s not getting the reads he’s used to getting and it’s frustrating him

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:28 PM CST reply actions

he's still in a fog

from last week? All he can see is crimson and cream flashes everywhere…then….BAM!

Mac Brown is politicking on ESPN

He says that if Tech were in the BCS Top 5, then head-to-head wins matter. But since we’re not, then it shouldn’t.

by Red Raider in South GA on Nov 29, 2008 3:36 PM CST reply actions

nice of him

to just make his own personal rules up.

If Texas weren’t full of assholes then it wouldn’t matter, but because they are, it does. Look, I can do it too

by DoubleB on Nov 29, 2008 3:40 PM CST up reply actions

If UT had the case to make

he’d let the record speaks for itself. Unfortunately, the record is saying “UT needs as much help as Tech” so Mack Brown is talking as loud and as fast as he can.

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:41 PM CST up reply actions

except fowler? We need to start playing to win.

he wants the Big 12 Con. Championship to go away, that the Big 12 should be more like the Big 10.

by Red Raider in South GA on Nov 29, 2008 3:42 PM CST reply actions

yeah playing in the Big 12

would be so much easier if you didn’t have to compete against tough teams

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:43 PM CST up reply actions

absolutely

at this rate he should be wearing down sometime in February

by mojavereject on Nov 29, 2008 3:45 PM CST up reply actions

It’s really disheartening that we NEED him on the field for this game.

by ndockray001 on Nov 29, 2008 3:47 PM CST up reply actions
