Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Please educate the fans(students)!!

I have no problem with the fans rushing the field after a big win. But please do it when the game is actually over. I was so embarrased for Tech when the fans did it not once.... but a couple of times. And when you actually do rush the field try to act like an adult.  If Tech happens to win next weekend I  really don't think we need to rush the field. Show some class. If the fans rush the field after every big win it will lose the magic after a while. I hate Tech fans being referred to as the classless clowns. On that note...BEAT OSU!!!!

I agree, please do not rush the field and the game this week is Tech #2 and OSU #9. I know that does not mean much at this point but expect us to win and and be proud when we do. We are not the under dog anymore we are at the top.

Go Tech.

It's all in good fun

I hear you but that game carried so much excitment it was hard to see a bunch of the freashman class sitting idle. That may have been the best tech game ever.

WAIT FOR THE GAME TO END!!! I realize these are 18-21 year olds doing this and this was the game of the century, but it really could have cost of the game. Shipley is a great returner and a couple of backward laterals to him on a short field could have cost us the game. We were kicking from the 7 yard line and a quick dash up the middle was definitely on my mind.

I hope one of the student leaders at Tech posts a message on the school paper and urge the students to think about the team’s best interest. If not the student leader, then a member of the team or even Captain Leach himself.

STUDENTS: IF we we beat OSU, stay in the stands. We have been there….so let’s act like it!

i am a student and thought it was pathetic that we rushed early

i was not a premature rusher… however i did rush when it was all said and done, just because of the magnitude of that game… the next time we rush the field… probably never.

it is appropriate to rush the field on the following occasions, in general.

1. If you beat a huge rival
2. with a true last second win
3. when you defeat a top 5 team with an upset
4. If you beat the #1 team

where they ALL there saturday night! YES. will they ever be there again, nope probably not.

Great points all around guys. I’ll be in LBK this weekend and as an alum I would hope to see us not make the same mistakes if we pull it out. Although granted last week’s game was a bit of a thriller I think this one time we can let it slide. I also think a major reason why a bunch of the student’s/fans rushed the field was because they thought that the game, “THE PLAY,” and the quarter, had expired and that there was 0:00 left on the clock so I can understand where people are coming from. Lets just be thankful that it didn’t lose the game for us but lets make damn sure it doesn’t happen again.

You only rush the field IF you beat a team ranked higher than you. Oklahoma St is not ranked higher than us. TO ALL THE STUDENTS…..DON’T RUSH THE FIELD IF WE WIN!!!!!!!! JUST DON’T DO IT.

With that being said….
WRECK EM TECH!!!!

Maybe someone can put out the idea of some more mature folks with signs:

WINNERS STAY IN THE STANDS!!!!!!!!!

... I'm just sayin'

Students will ignore this 100% of the time. I’m not saying it’s right but they will.

Being an accountant and famous don't go together. If you're a famous accountant, you probably did something wrong.
