You know, I typically would root for UT over OU anyday. And I think the head-to-head argument is hard to ignore. But right now I’m sick of all the whining and crying we’ve had to endure from Horn fans, and all the internet trolls we’ve had, and tired of hearing them explain how they really didn’t lose to us. So screw ‘em. They got what they had coming. Now here’s hoping OU doesn’t embarrass the conference….again.
39-33 and the only reason the Horns won’t be in the conference or national title games.

And in the greatest season in Tech football history, all Tech accomplished is being able to make that statement.

You guys had a great season, and must be incredibly disappointed that all you really accomplished was becoming the Big 12 South spoiler. Texas has to watch a team we beat play for it all against a team we beat. We can win our 3rd BCS bowl game, and we return every key contributor on offense (except Quan Cosby) and most of the defense (all except Orakpo and Miller), so at least we can get ready for a prime run next year. So, I guess there is something of a silver lining for us.
Best of luck against LSU or Ole Miss.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.
Congrats on probably your best season in school history.
Congrats on your 15th win over the Longhorns in almost 60 years. I’m sure it was absolutely thrilling for you guys.
Sadly, though, despite all of that, you’re once again on the outside looking in. That must really chap your ass, huh?
Remember, we’re Texas. And you’re…well uh enjoy watching us on primetime.

I actually enjoy
when the doofus segment of the Longhorn population swings by DTN. It’s comical…I will guess lolwaihwhateverthatnameis has the collective IQ of roughly 57…and is nothing more than a T-shirt fan. PB and the other grown up’s at BON have been a lot of fun to interact with this season. Clowns like this young lady have just been amusing.

Considering the status
of college football, it would be interesting to see what the bowl selection committees do this year. The Big-12 has three equally potent and powerful teams (Texas Tech, Texas and Oklahoma) that are heads and shoulders above the rest of the land, or maybe on the same plane as Alabama, Florida, USC and Penn State. Oklahoma State, Missouri, and maybe Kansas are just a hair under them, along with Boise State, Utah and TCU. Others could lay claim as well to consideration as one of the better teams fielded. This year has provided us with some of the greatest football throughout the year that we have seen for quite some time, maybe ever. However the BCS or any type playoff system would play out, it cannot diminish the fantastic season we have seen. The Big-12 teams have all been in the forefront of the whole nation all season and I am proud to be a fan in this conference. Whomever you back, praise the whole conference for some great entertainment. GO BIG-12! WIN ALL YOUR BOWL GAMES!

Yeah, the Big XII South is the toughest divsion in college football
Any division in which the 4th place team is 9-3( 5-3) and features a three way tie for first with teams at 11-1 (7-1) and 6 of 8 of the 5th place team’s (Baylor) losses have been close games is an EXTREMELY tough division to play in. I wonder how Utah, Boise State, Penn State, Alabama, and USC would have fared in the Big XII South in place of Texas A&M.

UT fans
Have fun watching the big 12 championship game at home. Quit crying were not . OU is the better team and don’t give me head to head cause we be UT head to head and I don’t here yall saying were better then UT.
Maybe we should all schedule better. While we were playing SMU, Umass, UTEP and FAU. OU was playing Cinn and TCU. As a Tech fan I’m giving them credit and hoping we can get in a BCS game. Stop crying.
Go Tech
