Leach calls for Blackout II

This evening on the Mike Leach show, the mad scientist himself asked for a blackout for this weekends OSU game. He loved it last week and wants it again!

I think it looked pretty good last week with 90+% of the fans wearing black.

Make sure this message is passed on the all the people that you know going to the game. I would create a Facebook group about this, but that’s not me, plus I don’t know enough active students to effectively relay the message to a large enough group of people!!

I saw the show and he just commented...

that it looked good last week, but he said that he didn’t care if they wore red or black. But HERE WE GO AGAIN, somebody looking to profit from it.

Think about Leach’s personality for a second, does he seem like the type that really gives a rip about something like this.

Wear what you want, but Leach never asked for it.

I saw on the OSU site that a cold front was expected and it was to get real chilly after the sun went down. Lots of wind, too. But then again I guess we have to consider the source.

I am camping out this week, and one of Leach’s aides came out and told us that he did want another blackout. It worked well last week, a lot of fans wore black, and we won. You cant beat that. That 2/2 now since i’ve gone to Tech. OU last year and UT this year. Now why stop something thats working for you? and ITT, no one is forcing anyone to buy a certain companies shirt for this game, no company is making this up in order to make a profit. Any fan can wear any black shirt they want….. I just hope its as loud as it was last week

I personally think the “Blackout” concept kinda loses its importance if we do it every now n then. We can just keep it for one game/year which would most probably be Texas or OU (depending on the year).

But hey, if the Captain himself has asked for it, who am I to say no??
