1. Synopsis of the game: Leach secretly tore the offense a new one for their red-zone performance in the UT game. They come out hot, scoring TD’s on their first 5 possessions and 7 of 9 for the game. OSU’s running game runs out the clock.
2. Offensive MVP: Detron Lewis
3. Defensive MVP: Brandon Seesay

1. Synopsis: OSU can run, Texas Tech can pass. Tech bends but doesn’t break often, establishes a buffer and holds on. Crabtree makes up for last year.
2. Offensive MVP: Crabtree
3. Defensive MVP: Duncan
4. Tech 38, OSU 27

YEAAAA BOYYYY
1. Tech Air Raids the cowboys defense for 500+ yards passing + another 100+ from Batch and Woods. The defense gets better than last week and gets some big Ints, and one for a pick 6. Raiders roll OSU and get ready for the week off before OU.
2. OMVP: Harrell/Crabtree due will make OSU pay for last year. Crab gets 200 yards and 3 TDs, Harrell gets 500+ through the air and 5 TD’s on the day.
3. DMVP: Dixon, Seesay, Whitlock. All get a sack, but most importantly hold OSU to under 150 Rushing Yards.
4. Finial Score Tech 49, OSU 31

Wipe out
I am probably in the minority on this one, but I see a Tech blowout in this one. Many people say Tech has played over their heads…we can easily say the same thing about OSU. Yes, they have a nice balanced offense, but I see their defense as a massive liability. They have 11 sacks…last in the Big XII…
They could play keep away – almost. They simply don’t have the skill or ability to rush the passer. That’s the only way teams have been able to beat Tech: Control the clock and get to Harrell. Controlling the clock does zilch if we can regularly score in less than 2 minutes. Ask Nebraska.

Tech rolls!
1. The Red Raiders are unstoppable on offense in the first half. Bath and Charb get a pick each and the defense limits OSU to 150 yds on the ground.
2. OMVP Harrell & Crabtree
3. DMVP Whitlock
4. TTU 42 OSU 28

4th Quarter, 45-42 OSU leads with 3:00 remaining. Tech starts from their own 20. Tech marches 63 yards, the longest play being a 15 yard run by Woods. Harrell throws a 17 yard winning touchdown to Eric Morris with 25 seconds left. Tech wins 49-45.

Tech Wins Big
I see this game close in the first quarter but turning out like Kansas game in the end. Tech is going to come in very strong at home and score a lot of points fast. OKST will hange for a while but the final score will be Tech by 17 points. I also predicted this for the Kansas game as well. Hopefully I’m correct.

All the talk...
1. Synopsis of the game:… from all the pundits and empty-headed stat monkeys is that Tech “just won’t have the emotion” they had in the Texas game. Tech didn’t win against UT on emotion. They flat out out-played the Longhorns for most of the game, dominated both lines, pressured the quarterback, and basically gave out an old timey West Texas butt-whoopin. Same here. Tech comes to play and sends a message that sends shudders through Norman and the rest of college football.
2. Offensive MVP: Baron Batch. 8 yards per carry, and he is the runningback everyone is talking about after the game.
3. Defensive MVP: Darcel McBath
4. Final Score: Texas Tech 52, Oklahoma State 28

I can see this game being close in the first half but Tech pulls away late. I agree about Leach going nuts after watching the UT tape and seeing the Red Zone offence last week.
I also look at OK St and see what they have done playing against teams in the top 25. Mizz they scored 28 points and won, they scored 24 points against UT and lost. They have scored lots of points against A&M, Iowa St, Houston and Troy. I saw in the paper today (Austin) that Dez was upset with all the credit Crab was getting from ESPN about being the best wide out in the county. Dez made the comment that Crab was great but he also wanted credit. I noticed Dez had 120 rec yards and 0 td’s in both the UT and Mizz games combined.
Stop the run and we win, Tech 42, OK St 30.

a little rant and a quick question.
So we beat UT last week and our defense looked good. But all anyone is talking about now is can we stop OSU. How about can they stop TTU. Ok so no question just a rant!

They key is the Elf. Hear me out.
Synopsis: Our D does better tha outsiders expect against the run and pass. Our offense keeps drives alive thanks to Eric Morris and guys like him. Think back to all the times little Wes Welker and Danny Amendola saved the day. They can’t account for that damn Elf. He is simply too quick and he’s every bit the “Gamer” as Crab. We pull a KSU/KU performance and win going away.
OMVP: I want Crab to outshine Dez
DMVP: If it’s a DT or DE, I’ll be happy
Final score: OSU 38- TTU 52

Plot for this week: Crabtree's Revenge
Michael Crabtree remembers last year very well, and takes it personal. He leaves it all out on the field, and reinforces his claim as the best receiver in college football. The Cowboys get their yards, but leave points on the field because of the Red Raider red zone defense.
OMVP – Mr. Crabtree
DMVP – McBath
Score – Texas Tech 41 – Ok State 35

FINAL SCORE: Tech: 48 OSU: 21

Another note
There are a few people still doubting this Tech team. What they really are not seeing is that the Raiders have been building to this season ending gauntlet since game 1. They have weekly added more O & D to the mix, getting good at each added play before adding another. They are honed and ready for this weeks game as never before. And when they go to Norman they will again be even better. Folks, this is history being made. Enjoy the ride and quit trying to find negatives. Sure, mistakes can and probably will be made, by both teams. But Tech, this year, is really highly capable of overcoming those errors like never before in their past. WRECK ’EM! AIR RAID!

Tech by 10
Neither blowout nor nail-biter, just a solid win over a dangerous Poke squad at home that puts us in a good frame of mind for the prep week before OU. Tech 45-35, but the cover 2 shell’s reappearance late in the game allows OSU to put up deceptively large numbers on offense, despite never really being in it. Offensive game ball gets split Solomon-style between Woods and Batch, who take the heat off Harrell by blocking and running big, once again proving that this year’s offensive unit is the without question the most dangerous Leach has ever fielded. Defensive game ball goes to… whichever member of this stellar D-Line rotation happens to be the standout this week. It’s an embarassment of riches with these guys and I love it.

I guess you could call me a doubter. I was really nervous last week. I was rooting for them big time but there was still that seed of doubt in the back of my mind. Too many years, hell decades, of being disappointed. Well, after not being able to sleep right since Saturday night I think I’m getting over the doubts. But I can still feel the pain from ’72(?) and ’76 – win the big one and then collapse the next week.
Screw it. That was then and this is now. That domination of the LOS was no fluke. Chew ’em up and spit ’em out, boys. Sure wish I was there to see it live.
They start out like the KU game, matching score for score till the defense makes its adjustments, then all hell breaks loose. Lee “The Penis” Corso collapses in his booth. By the end of the 3rd, OU tries to withdraw from further competition this year, applies for membership in the ACC. Halfway through the 4th, Big 10 and SEC try to make pact to play each other. Pirate ships are reported off the California coast. Gundy turns 67 and is now a woman.
