ESPN Promo...Red Raider Hater

Did anyone notice the small but significant change made to the ESPN promo. The first episodes that came out following the win last week stated "number 2 Texas Tech makes their IMPROBABLE run at a national championship" the latest versions have removed the word IMPROBABLE.........makes you go hmmmm huh?

it seems to me...
that striking the word “improbable” from the promo actually gives it a more positive connotation, doesn’t it? My understanding of improbable would be that the user of the term doesn’t believe that something is going to happen – thus inserting their opinion with that description. Leaving it out, leaves ’ Tech’s run at a national championship’ and no negative opinion is expressed. Am I missing something?

My point was...
That the initial commercials had the negative conotation, they struck the word improbable because they realized and corrected it. Just digging deep into everything going on, this is a great exciting time and Im going to savor any and all hype that surrounds this team. Its our job to do it though, I hope the team continues to show little interest. Thats all……

I finally saw it Sat. morning and it now says “Tech’s shocking victory”. Sounds like even more of a dis. That’s fine. Let them talk their smack. I think it motivates the players.

Yeah saw it too… on espn360.com during the UGA-UKY game.. its at 02:37:29. They still have the “improbable” version.
