New Logo for the Texas Tech Defense!

I was talking with my brother who commented that the Texas Tech Defense needed a better name than the swarm and needs a defining logo. That it needed a more menacing name something that puts a thought of dread in your mind when you see it. So I drew up this idea which he liked and suggested that I post it to other Tech fans.

Good Idea......
But we can’t use “wrecking crew”. That’s for aggie. Back when they had a great defense in the eighties and nineties.
… looks like an 7th grade art project. Sorry man.
Also, we sadly can’t use the “wrecking crew” defense since that’s what the A&M defense of the 1980’s was known as. I think the pirate thing is a little bit too far. It should be an accent to the TTU fanbase, not a new mascot.
I did it in under 2 minutes
I am not trying to make a professional appeal. Just a concept Idea which this is more than good enought for that purpose.
The wrecking crew thought
Was because we use that term in one of our songs and it does have a pirate type theme.
How about
“Black Swarm Defense”? It kinda goes with our aptly named “Air Raid Offense”. So we RAID them on Offense, SWARM them on offense. And the names conjure up F-E-A-R!!!!!!!!!!!! And no pics, just the name….Brutal enough by itself..

It was a concept Idea
Geez, what did you expect, a 40 hour piece of work expecting perfect everything.
It was a concept drawing. Concept drawings are never never perfect.
If people liked the idea, I would have modified it with scroll letters.
But if you want to spend the hours it takes to make a perfect drawing that is perfect in every way, be my guest.
If you want to pit best drawing against best drawings, I would win in the end against most. There are several artist that are way way better than myself.
But for a computer quicky that was done in 2 minutes. well there you go. Could you do that well in 2 minutes. Geez, give me a break!
