Obviously Graham Harrel didnt write my last comment

Those of you who commented on my spelling and said that Graham Harrell wrote my last comment made me chuckle.

First off I am a female.  Should it be my fault that I did not address that I was a lady in my description.  I felt my gender was unwarrented on a football website.  Unless Graham harrell recieved a sex change along with his finger operation he obviously didn't write that last blog.

Secondly Graham Harrell is an education major and his spelling most likely would be flawless.  I am a science major two opposite ends of the spectrum.

Third I found it funny being refferred to as a HE in all of the posts.

On a more serious note.  During the Baylor game did anybody see the player that ran in along the blind side of Graham Harrell on the line of scrimage and hit him after it was known that he seriously injured his left hand?  It seemed more of a blatant act to injure than just a normal football play.  I say give credit were credit is due.  The guy still engineered three touchdowns plus he did this without his normal crew of recievers.

of note, all unknown posters on the internet largely go as, “He”. It’s safer that way.

No worries

I would say that 99% of the posters on DTN are probably guys and don’t worry about the grammar, it happens.

Welcome.

Howdy, Seti. I feel bad about the whole grammar police thing. I swear I’ve never done that before – and this site doesn’t have an edit or delete feature or I would’ve ditched it. In any event, glad to have a science guy, er gal (hard habit to break) with us. I was in EE at Tech for 2-3 years before I wimped out and changed majors, so I respect your studies.

I didn’t see the deal you were asking about. My cable didn’t carry the game so I was trying to listen to the radio and watch some herky-jerky video feed on the computer.

Does anyone know what started the bad blood in that game? Harrell seemed to be yelling at their bench and another player (forget who) had to be pulled away from their sidelines before he killed somebody. Plus Briles seemed to have a few choice words for Graham. Gosh, I’m sure those Baptist boys wouldn’t say anything that wasn’t nice.

My cable does carry a local Waco station and they had interviews with some Baylor players in the days leading up to the game. They were talking some pretty good smack, so I wonder if that ended up on the Tech bulletin board. Anyone know?

The bad blood started on the play...

where 2 Tech defensive players got lit up and hurt on the same play. Anthony Hines started talking some smack to the sideline of BU, and then got the students right in front of him fired up. From then everyone was hard hitting smack talking and pissed at the refs and Baylor. It all escalated severely on the play where the refs stopped play after BB scored a touchdown and Graham was pissed because the refs waited too long to stop the play, and by that time we had scored a second time (which wouldn’t have counted) Graham tore off his helmet and yelled at the refs, that is when Art Briles came running onto the field for about 4 minutes complaining that Graham should have gotten a penalty
