Tremendous work by Rocky Top Talk's Hooper on why the BCS system isn't broken. I don't necessarily agree with everything, but it's a level-headed perspective on every team in contention. Although not mentioned, I think the fact that the BCS is inconvenient for certain teams this year is the real problem.

Just so you know,

I’m very ambivalent toward the whole thing. I meant the post as humor first, but also to say that it might not be as horrific as people make it out to be. There are certainly problems in the BCS system, and I think the Big12 South is the obvious wrench in the works this year. But the season has been absolutely thrilling; the twitchiness of the potential implications of a loss in any game have made for some fantastic drama.

But I’m glad you liked the article. Best of luck in whichever Bowl you get! (Fiesta, if OU loses, perhaps?)
