Bowls: Big 12, 7-0

This may be the year when a conference goes undefeated with seven wins. The SEC had seven bowl victories last season, but also had two losses. Of course, if the Big 12 only goes (say) 3-4, it won’t be the biggest shock in sports history. Still, I’m lunging out on a limb for 7-0 and here is why.

I hope for 7-0 but

Missouri – should win unless there are penalties for typos and run on sentences.

Okla St. – Big game for the Cowboys but I think they show up and blow out Oregon

Kansas – This is a maybe. Which KU team is going to show up

Nebraska – With the Pellini defense taking shape and the coaching drama at Clemson, It’s the Husker’s bowl to lose

Texas Tech – We’ll win. Sure, I’m a homer but we have a much better team than the one’s in past Cotton Bowls.

Texas – Who would have thought that the defensive scheme used against Baylor will help defeat the Buckeyes. More athletes at Ohio State but not enough. TEXAS WINS

OU – Will the real Oklahoma Team please show up for a championship. I’m going with OU but I am probably going to have to make apologies on this board on Jan. 9th.
