Keys to the Game:

  1. Big Lew's Big Day: After watching Robert Lewandowski's performances over the past two games, tonight could be Lew's coming out party as the Gents boast only 3 players 6'9" or taller. Let's see that Lew can do.
  2. Take Care of the Ball: I mentioned it this morning, but nothing would make me happier than to see a 2 or 3 turnover game from Roberson. Value every possession.
  3. Find Cook: Trevor Cook has struggled a bit because of foul trouble and he's been rendered pretty much ineffective the past two games. I'd love to seek Cook get back into his groove from earlier in the year and with a relatively small Centenary lineup, this might be a good time for this to happen.

While I love all things Tech

I’ll be recording this for later. We got a hell of a bowl match up tonight.

Just don't check the blog tonight

b/c I’ll probably have a write-up after the game.

Time for this team

to settle down and play a solid game. The defense must start coming around and the guards must hold on to the ball-no turnovers. The rest of the season is going to be much tougher, so they must really start jelling together.

You want Lewandoski and Cook to shine. I hope to see Singletary assert himself as THE man. He has the tools. Now is the time to star. Tech should hold this Centenary team to under 70 points, while Tech breaks 100.

I think Singletary's

success is going to be dependent on the opposing team’s matchup. Against UTEP he struggled b/c they had a 7-footer and a 6-11 power forward. Singletary is an undersized 4 right now with the possibility of being a really good 3. Against NM, Singletary did well because NM isn’t very big. I’d expect Singletary to have a pretty big game tonight as well.

And yes, the Gents teh sux.

Well I watched the second half and

We just looked so scatter-brained. Usually I always attributed our success to talent or a lack thereof, but I can really see where these guys could step it up a notch with more focused D and better teamwork on O.

If the Gents sux

Tech lix. This is a game Tech should have run away with, but after the first few minutes, they played terribly. This team is in trouble. They will be killed in the Big-12. No good.

Yes

I just don’t see them winning 8 conference games.

19 games left

I’d be happy with 2 out of 3 for the end of non conf. so 11-4 plus 8-8 would be 19 wins, but I’m being very optimistic. I hope they get it together and I’m wrong.

Lots of turnovers.

Lew looked really good.

How about 5 blocks?

That’s not something that happens often for TT.
