New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

They played the oddest game in high school football history last month down in Grapevine, Texas.

It was Grapevine Faith vs. Gainesville State School and everything about it was upside down. For instance, when Gainesville came out to take the field, the Faith fans made a 40-yard spirit line for them to run through.

Did you hear that? The other team's fans?

Great article everyone should read it. I forwarded it to my family to read.

Thanks for an inspiring article.

I must go into a prison, a GEO facility wheere prisoners work for my company, receiving minimum wage for their efforts. I have never felt ill at ease when there. Yes, they have all committed crimes, but they are also very human. By treating them with respect, as they treat me, we have a great ongoing friendly work relationship, one of mutual trust. Many more need to understand the people locked up. Most are no different than you or me, they simply got caught. There are a few hardcore prisoners, but those are not allowe such liberties as the ones I work with. These men and women (they are split up on different areas of the plant and are not allowed to mingle), work hard and are due for parole consideration within three years. I hope more will reach out to these people and give them hope, as we at my company do.
