Sigh . . . Skyline's Keanon Cooper Switches Commitment
A break in Bob Knight coverage, per the DMN Recruiting Blog, Skyline safety Keanon Cooper is now committed to Minnesota. I know that his friends are also going to school there, but I still don't get it.

If everybody else jumped off a cliff...
With a recruiting class like the Gophers have, maybe they'll be twice as good next season...2 wins.
Whatever floats your boat, KC (or sinks, as the case may be).

good riddance
Cooper probably won't like Minnesota because its cold and a losing program. Good Luck Keanon...

PLEASE, TECH, PLEASE!
"LSU wants to play a TV game against a BCS nonconference opponent on Aug. 30, and now has that date open."
Holy crap, if we could schedule them it would make all the problems with Tulsa and Cooper go away (well, not all the way away). Even just a one year deal, I wouldn't care it if was a one-and-done in Baton Rouge, a neutral game in Houston or Dallas, or a one-and-done in Lubbock. I mean, it would be best in Lubbock, but hell I'd go to the game in Baton Rouge, too. I know a guy there.
That'd shut everybody up about our scheduling.
And we could rub it in Cooper's face that we're upsetting LSU on national television while he's playing Valdosta State or whomever.

more
There's nothing on any official LSU site confirming such (that I can access, at least), nor is their anything verifiable on any official Tech site.

Uh oh
Can you imagine Harrell and Crabtree with the great wall of Lubbock and Crawford, putting a beat down on LSU on national TV? Can you imagine Ruffin with an improved D, coming after them like meat eaters? Can it be done? Of course it can! So I say, pray to whatever gives you guidance and comfort that Tech can break in to the limelight and schedule this one.
