I think we're
pretty much on the same page on almost every position, except for linebacker and strong safety. I just don't know how quickly Reed can assimilate to defense and Fuller has the experience.

I also have the feeling that Batch, if he has a good spring, jump ahead of Crawford. I've got a good feeling about Batch.

Crawford is
the man. His style is a bit unusual for a Tech back, but I think that is what will allow him to be so successful. He breaks tackles nicely, has fair speed, and seems to have hands. The question I have is can the kid block consistently? Pick up the blitz...if he can half as good as Emmitt Smith did, we'll have something.

The best part about all of this
is that there's legitimate depth at the running back position. Whether it's Crawford, Batch, or Jeffers, there's someone pretty talented carrying the ball.

Not just the RB
position, but most of the positions we are pretty stacked as far as proven or talented players go.  This is the first year in a while that I can remember there not being a huge deal about position battles.  There are so many "good" candidates on our roster that I feel very good about for this next season.

That is a very nice problem to have!!
