Music I Like But Probably Shouldn't Admit In Public: The Bends
Music I Like But Probably Shouldn't Admit In Public:
I always feel like I need to preface my taste in music with a rationale and today is no different and once again, I'm not at all embarrassed that I like this song or band. So here we go. I'm not sure how I found The Bends because it wasn't a album that received much airplay, but for some reason it found me and I must say that this has to be one of my top 5 albums of all-time. So why include it in this "Music I Like But Probably Shouldn't Admit In Public"? Because The Bends was right after the initial, but apparently unwanted, success of Pablo Honey and Creep and right before OK Computer, another successful period, but I still feel that The Bends is, by far, Radiohead's best work. Considering I love the entire album I had a hard time picking just one song, and thought about Fake Plastic Trees, but went with The Bends (non-live version here). Enjoy.

agreed
radiohead as a band is greatness, but felt that The Bends is/was a forgotten/overlooked album.

have you ever listened to their acoustic album, “not my fault”. It’s a good one, especially if you’ve cut out the dj on the tracks.
and yeah, the bends is pretty overlooked. I’m a huge can of OK Computer though, so forgive me. (I liked their most recent one, in rainbows, as well, though nothing on it really, truly stands out)
