New commit

Chris Roberson committed to Tech. They have him listed as a center, but I think he is going to be a long snapper. Not really big news, but there was that hole to fill. Scout has him listed at 6' 1" 220. I am not sure how big a long snapper should be, but maybe they can use him on other special teams too bc he has some decent speed at 4.68. Not blazing, but could be effective on kickoffs.

This is one

of the most overlooked positions on the football field, but very important when you think about it. These guys are responsible for every snap on punts, field goals, and XP’s. Many times special teams are the difference in a ball game. I am glad that Tech jumped at the opportunity to pick up a solid deep snapper that can take over for Austin Burns when he leaves Tech.

He was only given preferred walk-on status; he doesn’t have a schollie.

After all is said and done, more is said than done.
