Crabs vs Marlon Williams Drama

Marlon William's Myspace for Marlon's myspace where he's put up a new track bout Crabtree. Hope that these things are not going to blow up and ruin the potential.

keep it in kids, you're on the same team. Mike's been pretty strict on team cancers before, I don't expect this to be any different.

Also, this is most definitely a fan post because i expect discussion to follow and to hell with fan shots that aren't simply links.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

is that a joke?

Are these guys for realz?

I couldn’t understand the message that Crabs left, but I guess it was bad enough for da k.o.s. to write a rap song about it?

should I start a

countdown clock to see how long that song is on the k.o.s. myspace page?

it's

easy to find a countdown clock, but not so easy to find a countforward (and yes, I’m pretty sure that’s not a word) clock

screw it

we’ve got plenty of time-stamps I wish someone with a big computer brain could figure out a way to tape that song, for posterity purposes.

That’s ridiculous if it’s real. In a potential kicked-off-the-roster battle between Crabtree and Marlon Williams, Williams loses 100 times out of 100.

By the way, this is the first time I’ve seen comments go up live. That’s rad.

After all is said and done, more is said than done.

I don’t think either kid gets kicked off the roster. i’m hoping leach can let them meet. and then tell them to settle their shit.

by kayakyakr on Jun 24, 2008 8:28 PM CDT up reply actions

Surely

Leach doesn’t kick k.o.s. (I’m laughing as I type that out) off the team for repeatedly calling Crabtree a bitch.

Yes, the live commenting is awesome, if you really want to see how it works, go join a baseball blog and watch the comments fly during a game day thread.

Kind of reminds me of the Shaq rap.

yeah, i found that funny that this came out bout the same time.

by kayakyakr on Jun 24, 2008 9:12 PM CDT up reply actions

But didn’t it seem like k.o.s.’ intent was a little more mean-spirited? Just by judging tone alone, which can be dangerous, it seemed awfully harsh.

Apparently this came out a while ago and has been dealt with the Coach Leach, and is no longer an issue. It’s surprises me, then, that the song is still up.

really? i’ll have to tell the dudes that brought this to my attention that they’re slow. usually much better at picking up stuff like this :).

Any word on the actual results?

check out the newest blog post. Crabtree apparently isn’t the “golden boy” in the locker room that he is on the field, but everything’s been dealt with. People like the song, though, for whatever reason, so it’s remained up.

this isn't surprising
Crabtree apparently isn’t the "golden boy" in the locker room that he is on the field

I remember in an early season article on Crabtree in the Dallas Morning News, his father was already talking about when Crabtree would be going pro. My immediate reaction was, “I hope you didn’t just jinx your son by talking out of your ass before he is halfway through his first season of college football.”
I enjoy watching Crabtree play, so I hope he isn’t an ass in the locker room, but if his dad has him convinced he is a 1st round pick walking around, biding his time in college, it would be hard for him to not have a swollen head. Even harder for his teammates to tolerate such an attitude.

This is wild speculation on my part, btw, with no basis in fact. I like Crabtree, so I hope none of it is true.

my other thought

was that there could be some jealousy on Williams’ part. There’s plenty of fault to go around, if this is even an issue, but they are probably both to blame, and I blame Williams more for taking it sooo public.

on the plus side, at least they didn’t settle it face to face with lethal weaponry.

by kayakyakr on Jun 25, 2008 8:03 AM CDT up reply actions

ya

I have actually heard of a couple instances of Crabs rubbing people the wrong way. Long story short, a good friend of mine is on the team, and has told me stories of Crabtree getting in fights with teammates, almost the whole basketball team, and others….. I think that his competitiveness brings out the worst in him at times.
