NACDA Directors Cup

I don't know if this was ever mentioned but Texas Tech finished 44th in the annual Directors Cup which ranks schools based off 10 women and 10 men sports throughout the 2007-2008 school year. I believe Tech finished 7th overall among Big 12 schools.

that ranking is so worthless

Any ranking system that says winning a national title in football is equal to winning it all in women’s water polo is invalid.
That ranking does not weight difficulty of winning, i.e. how many schools field a team for a given sport. So, the trick is to field teams in sports with few participants, and dominate them.
