Double-T Nation Rollcall
With the season fast-approaching I thought this was the perfect opportunity for everyone to introduce themselves. About this time last year I pulled back the curtain a little bit on myself, but the Cliff Notes version is that I graduated from Texas Tech in 1996 with a degree in English. I'm married, no kids, but I do have three dogs.
Since it's a slow news day I'd love for you guys to tell the rest of the class a little bit about yourself and your affiliation to Texas Tech. If you've been lurking on DTN, but haven't commented, this is the perfect opportunity to break the ice and leave a comment. For those of you who haven't signed up for an account, it's free, and it's pretty painless.
Wreck 'Em!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nations's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

Done.
I graduated from Tech in 2005 with a degree in Philosophy, which necessitated more schooling. I’m currently at UT for Law School but represent Tech as my school, especially on campus.
I also write the Washington Redskins blog for SB Nation and am convinced that Texas Tech is the best represented school on the network. I think we have at least one other blogger.

My parents went to Tech. I was born in Lubbock. My brother goes there now. Tech is my second CFB team, behind my alma mater, ND. This works out since Tech and ND basically never play in any sport.

Another Tech grad living in Austin
I graduated from Tech in 1999 with a degree in Finance. My Dad and two little brothers are also Red Raider graduates. I grew up in the DFW area and worked in Plano and Houston a few years. Now I’m working for a local accounting firm as an auditor in downtown Austin which is where I’ve always wanted to end up. My wife is a UT grad so we have a good time during the Tech vs UT games. Actually, she’s had a good time the past several years enjoying those blown leads and bad calls. It’s our turn this year.
Thanks for keeping us up to date on our Red Raiders!

Lubbock & Tech
Are in me: past, present and future. Though I live in dreaded S. Austin & work in Buda(Document Control), I am and always will be a Plainsman and a Red Raider. I was in the Navy (Aviation Electronics Tech.) for 4 years, Worked at Litton for about 11 years total, and when they shut down, moved to Austin and spent 19 years at Motorola (Eng. Tech.). My 1st marriafge ended while I was at Litton, so I attended Tech until Litton closed. No degree, but Red Raider through-&-Through. Have a great time ‘fighting’ with these foghorns down here. Keep up the good work, Seth. GUNS UP! BTW, I have a sister & two brothers still in Lubbock.

Man, lots of us in Austin.
Graduated 2006 in the world of Computer Science and I work on the Northside of Austin on a range of development stuff. Love Austin, but summer kinda sucks since my close friends that are usually here aren’t and the friends from Lubbock haven’t moved here yet. And there’s no football.
This summer especially sucks since it’s so damn hot so I can’t even really get out on the kayaks as much as I like (have taken up the habit of going down to ladybird at sunset, watching the bats for a bit and then paddling around in the dark).

Red Raider in Chicago
That’s right, DoubleTNation pulls readers from outside of Texas! Okay, quick hits – Originally from the DFW area, I graduated from Tech in ‘04 with degrees in English and Advertising. I was an RA in Weymouth for 3 years as well as the President of the Tech Rugby Team – Currently a copywriter at an ad firm. Live by Wrigley. DTN is a daily stop-I love Chicago but when it comes to college football it’s Big Ten on the tube and everyone you know becomes a Notre Dame fan—-So I need my daily dose of Raider Power. Guns Up!

Current Red Raider
Well I’m on Double T Nation daily so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to open an account. I’m originally from Plano and just completed my undergraduate degree in Accounting. I’m now pursuing my MSA (Master of Science in Accounting) which is awesome since that adds two more years of going to every home game to my life. I work at a small CPA firm in Lubbock and with the work load being light during the summer I’m able to devote an ample amount of time to searching and reading about the Red Raiders. Seth, I really appreciate everything you do because without it, I may be having to work (YUCK).

San Antonio Techsan in Lubbock
I think I just said all this a few days ago, but here it is:
San Antonio is my hometown. My Dad wanted me to be an Aggie, but after taking a visit to College Station, and for several other reasons, I decided on Tech (Aggies huff in disbelief, unconvinced). I graduated in 2005 with a Civil Engineering degree. The company I was interning with just happened to win the contract to build the new Lubbock County Detention Center (I’m not in the video, but you can see the project). It’s not easy to find people who want to work in Lubbock, but I gladly volunteered. Talk about good timing – I didn’t even have to move out of my apartment!
This will be my last football season living in Lubbock (hope it’s a special one!), but I plan to keep my season tickets and support my Red Raiders on Saturdays even after I’m back in SA. Oh – my Dad and my whole family are Red Raider fans now.

Raider from Houston
I live in a small town in between Houston and Beaumont, but I work in Houston doing eminent domain valuation. I graduated from Tech in 2007 with a finance degree. I hope to one day retire and run a small ranch in my hometown and maybe take up politics. Can’t wait for 08 I just hope the team doesn’t dissapoint, and the players can mesh again like the end of last year.

Another in Austin
Have been a lurker quite awhile now and finally decided to post. Graduated in 2003 in marketing and management. Moved to Austin where I am in a sales marketing role. Grew up in Austin, predictably becoming a lifelong longhorn fan only to become a 100% fan of Tech while at school there. Now I laugh at the UT Nation in Austin. Find myself being much more of an analyst of sports rather than just a fan. But am definitely looking forward to what the 08 season brings!

Red Raider in Midland
I graduated in 2006 with a Human Development & Family Studies Degree and moved back to Midland to become a landman in the oil business, so i did not have to go far from Lubbock and still make it to as many games as possible. I just got married and my new wife (also from Tech) is finally starting to like watching Tech sports with me, so thats a plus. I really enjoy this site, keep. it up. Harrell and the boys are going to take the Big 12 this year, BCS or bust.

One more in Austin
I read a lot of what Seth has to say, but don’t post anything. Believe me, if I had something to say, I’d post it on my website, and to be honest with you, posts have been very “infrequent”.
I’m a Dec. 2006 graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering. I moved to Austin as soon as I graduated to work in a Structural Engineering firm. I plan on staying here in Austin, I absolutely love it. I’m originally from Levelland, TX, and I’m pretty excited about Red Raider Football v.2008!

Not from Austin
I didn’t know you had to be from Austin to post on DTN. Kidding. I am a 2001 graduate of Texas Tech with my degree in Business Administration. I work for a large, radiation instrument company in Sweetwater. Yes, there is more in Sweetwater than the McDonalds and Taco Bell that you see from I20 when you guys drive through. So I am still close enough to Lubbock to go to alot of games. Not married, no kids, but one 55 pound yellow lab who wears a Texas Tech collar. Man, do I miss the night life in Lubbock. When is football season going to start!!!

Another in Houston
I’ve been reading for about 6 months. I graduated in 05 with a degree in biology. I am currently in my 3rd year of medical school. My wife graduated in 06 with her masters in speech pathology. We both miss LBK and would like to end up there someday. Thanks for all the work you put into this site. I check it everyday, and now that I have an account I’ll start chiming in.

A Double-T in Big D
I’ve been reading and occasionally participating in discussion for less than a year. I graduated in 2006 with a journalism/english degree. After a year of covering sports at a daily newspaper, I decided to jump the fence and get into public relations. It freed up my weekends to concentrate on the simple joys in life—Tech football and the Cowboys. The wife is an Aggie who loves sports, so with Tech’s domination over the past few years, I’ve had to deal with a lot of crying over football losses. We’ll be down in Aggieland once again to watch the Red Raiders roll over the Shermanator, and you can bet your ass there will be some more Aggie consoling to come.

old guys need blogs too!
Are old guys allowed here? Class of ‘73. Worked on Tech paper. Became sports director of KCbD in Lubbock. Did Carlen, Sloan and Myers tv shows. Moved back to Dallas and sports for Channel 4. Opened own sports related businesses. In 94 broadcast the most famous High School Football Game of all Time. Ended up on Leno, Jim Rome, won the ESPY award and did movie “Varsity Blues”. Three kids. One singing in Nashville, two flying jets for Uncle Sam. Life has been a dream. I support the Red RAiders and the Air Force Falcons. Good luck to all you youngsters.

Army Red Raider
Graduated in 1995. I’m an Army JAG stationed at Fort Riley, KS. Fort Riley’s proximity to Manhattan should provide me with good insight to the K-State game on October 4. Family plans to do it right for that game. Will also try to get to Lawrence for the KU game. Married to an Aggie for almost 15 years. Easy to stay married when Tech dominates the series the way they have. Love the blog. I read it every day. Keep up the good work!

Me and ChiTown TTU only ones outside the Great State!
I am a native of Shallowater and Lubbock, you could say TTU is in my blood from birth! I graduated in ‘03 with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management. Unfortunatley I now live in Memphis TN, where the SEC is king and coverage of the Big 12 is limited generally to the damn Horns! I am married to a sweet Red Raider we have no little Raiders but we do have 3 dogs. I work for a Medical device company, Medtronic. Dont ask about the correlation between the degree and the job!!
I appreciate the info I get here on DTN as I said I hear a ton about the SEC which I care nothing for at all! I am a regular. If anyone is ever in Memphis give me a shout I would love to have a beer and talk Raiders!
Can someone convince Leach that a great preseason team to blow out would be the University of Memphis!!

Another old guy here
I graduated Tech in 1992, BA in English. I was also born in Lubbock, but dad being a Reese AFB guy, we moved when I was about 1. Family on mom’s side all reside in and around Lubbock (Peteresburg, Crosbyton, Lorenzo, Frenship, Woolforth, etc).
My wife is a Baylor gal, but she’s a Tech supporter when they aren’t playing each other. I had lived in San Francisco from 1996-1998 and was part of a nice little Tech group that I found in a very random way. Needless to say, you can find a Tech grad just about anywhere, which makes wearing my Tech gear fun on an out-of-state road trip.
In May I was in south central Pennsylvania visiting my dad. My brother, dad and I went to an Altoona Curve double A baseball game and I had on a Tech cap…lo and behold, a woman in line at the beer stand mentioned something to me and said her brother is a Tech med student. Chatted for a bit about west Texas (the most underrated part of the country) and said our farewells…overheard her say to a guy a few feet away, “Honey, you’ll never guess where that guy is from…”
My boss (also a Tech grad) and I roadtrip to a few games every season in Lubbock and spend about 75% of our time talking Tech sports year-round. Thus, our workdays become a little long having to catch up on actual work after our chats! Love the site, the comments and the opinions. It’s great having a community of Raider fans to chew the fat with and sometimes argue with. But in the end, we’re all one team, one fight.
GO TECH!!!

Hello from Indiana
I’m new the site, but enjoy Tech sports especially football. I graduated from Tech in 1987 with a BBA in finance. Originally from Houston, went to Indiana in 1998 on a 30 day assignment with an adjusting firm (Crawford & Co.). My assignment was extended for 14 months. In that time my wife (Tech All-American swimmer) and I decided that IN was the place for us. We have 5 children (3 boys and Hoosier twin girls). My wife and I own a restoration company which has 40+ employees.
We travel alot around the mid-west (which is also a great part of the country), but Texas is such a long haul that it’s tough to get to Lubbock (remember 5 kids, so air travel is out). We would love to eat at Orlandos again.
I have been watching Tech football for almost 30 years, I hope that this is the year that we have all been waiting for. Go Tech!

Another old guy
Graduated, finally, From TT in 1969 with a B ARCH. Spent quite a few years working in Colorado, Minnesota , D.C., the middle east and finally in austin for several years. Retired two years ago and now live in Port “A”. Got to see almost every home game Anderson, Wilson, White and the boys played plus a few years after. Living out of state during the 70’s you might see a TT score in the sunday paper, usually not.
Just happened on this site and have enjoyed the posts and connections to other sites.

Greetings from TTobacco Road
Benn lurking here and on Raider Power for a quite a while, just never post on either.
I’m originally from Chicago, moved to Dallas at 10 years old with my family (Dad works for Pizza Hut Corporate). Graduated in 1998 with an MIS degree. Worked for a major record label’s Dallas sales and marketing office right out of school. Had a lot of fun with that job, just didn’t have much growth potential with the onslaught of the Napsters of the world.
Currently doing work for an accounting member organization and split time between Durham, NC and Dallas, though I’m in Dallas much more often now then in the past (telecommuting is muy bueno). I’m actually in Durham now working on an infrastructure upgrade, which means a lot of hurrying up and waiting. Durham is a great place with mostly friendly people, some of which actually follow football and not just basketball. But being in Durham, all I usually hear is UNC this and Duke that, with an occasional smattering of Wake Forest and NC State thrown in for good measure.
I get to travel to 1 football game in Lubbock each year. I usually go with either A&M, UT, or OU. Can’t wait for the ‘08 season to start! Wreck ‘Em!

Red Raider in Cajun Country
I graduated from Tech in 2005 with a B.B.A. in Marketing. Since then, I have lived in Houston, TX; Tulsa, OK and now Lafayette, LA. I am currently in the process of moving back to Houston. I work in the oilfield and sell drilling equipment. I do a lot of international travel so DTN is sometimes my only link to what’s going on with Tech sports. I am a long time reader of DTN and a recent member.
I grew up in central Texas and became a huge Tech fan sometime in my teenage years. I have hated aTm ever since I can remember and Austin was way too liberal for me so Tech was the best fit. I haven’t been back to Lubbock since I graduated but I definetly left some good memories and my liver their. I haven’t seen a home game in a while but I have caught several road games.

only t-shirt fan?
Born in Dennison, raised in West Texas. Grew up in Big Spring and Abilene. Joined the Army in1990 before Gulf War I. Was honorably discharged in 1997 and my wife and I moved to Lubbock. I’ve had 2 sisters and a brother graduate from Tech. Growing up, I was always a UT fan. My oldest brother graduated from UT in 1982. But one day in 1996 (I was stationed in Washington D.C. at the time), THIS happened. (Liquidsmoke?)
Now I live here in Lubbock, happily married and raising our kids, and 5 minutes from the Jones. Sometimes you can hear the Goin’ Band practicing in the distance. Life is good.

Parent of Tech Undergrad Student Assistant Football Coach
I am Jeff Jansen, father of Matt Jansen, who will be a junior this year at Tech and who is one of the student assistant football coaches. He works primarily for Coach Brian Mitchell as a cornerbacks coach.
I grew up in Green Bay, WI, graduated in 1984 from the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and also graduated from law school in 1993 from UT-Austin, practiced law in Houston until 2004, and now own a medical supply company based in Houston.
This blog helps me keep up day-to-day with what is going on not only with the football team but also other things relevant to my son living and going to school in Lubbock. I am very grateful for Seth and this blog.

Red Raider in San Angelo
I was born while my mother, father, aunt and uncle were attending Tech. My aunt was in the Goin’ Band while at Tech. I’m a coach’s kid so we moved a lot but mostly lived in small towns around Lubbock. When I drive north, just before I hit Lamesa I feel “home”. Including myself, brother, cousin, spouse, sister-in-law and those above, there are 13 Tech degrees. My uncle and another cousin started at Tech but finished at U of H. We kept them in the family. ha My oldest son plans to head to Tech in a few short years.
I REALLY fell in love with Tech football when I was in school working in the athletic cafeteria and got to meet all the players. Pretty cool to go to the 1989 All American Bowl to beat Duke and get a hug from a player/friend after the game! What a game James Grey had! Worth every penny it cost to get there!!
My brother hooked me to this blog and I love it! Thanks for the video memories, Seth! Keep ‘em coming, even the music ones you confess to enjoying. :) Thanks, 10forTech for the slam Ham dunk video!! That was so awesome!! We kept the Sports Illustrated magazine for the awesome picture.
I confess to watching the Super Bowl at a big church party just to cheer for Wes Welker. I got lots of ribbin’, especially from our Sooner pastor!

Raider all my life...
I’m a little older than most of you guys, and I’m a Raider who grew up in Lubbock. I now live in Abilene. My ties to Tech go all the way back to my Grandmother, who is 98 this year, and attended Tech in 1928, when it was “brand new.” I have thousands of cherished memories of the Jones – including watching the 1965 version of Tech vs. A&M from my Dad’s shoulders, ten deep in standing room only. Later we climbed up on the old scoreboard, where we got a great view of Ed Hargett’s 4th and 16 dash to break Tech’s heart on the last play of the game. But I’ve been there for most of the great Victories as well. This past year, my son graduated from Tech, and during his time there, myself, my Dad (who is 76) and my youngest son have made every home game.
I say all of that to say this: I have never been as excited about a Tech football season as I am about the upcoming one. I really believe that the pieces are in place, and THIS just may be our year. One thing for sure, we all will be in our places – yelling for the Raiders to WRECK ‘EM!

Tech in the blood
Brother to user bleedredblack so you can read her post and see how many people in our family attended Tech. I got my undergrad in Industrial Engineering in ‘99 and graduate in Industrial Engineering in ‘00. First job was with Saturn near Nashville, where I was able to integrate into an active alumni chapter and also re-acquainted myself with Phoenix Rising, a great local band that played the Lubbock scene (hahahaha…sorry) while a couple of the members were in school. Relocated to Texas and hooked up with a defense company which allowed me to tote all my Tech gear on a trip to Antarctica (picture with nice, big Tech flag is in the collection on redraiders.com). Recently began working with a telecom company and spent three weeks in China but never was able to find a place worthy of flying the flag for a picture…maybe next time.
Being a coach’s kid, I was a rec rat at Tech and enjoyed getting to play with many involved in the last great Tech basketball seasons. Lance Hughes, Darvin Ham, Cory Carr, Jason Sasser, and Tony Battie were great to play with and down to earth. Definitely some of the best memories from Tech. And you can tell from my username that I am also fond of the “old school” (for me, at least) football players. Who can ever forget the great white hopes that were Tracy Saul and Dane Johnson? ..and the greatness of the Robert Hall and Zebbie Lethridge zero snap count. Rambling…
Seth – I really appreciate all the work you put into this.
Everybody else – WRECK ‘EM!

Fear and loathing in the big country
Born and raised on the Great High Plains about one hour north of the Hub City as the Red Tail Hawk flies. A Red Raider Fan since I was old enough to find Dirk West SWC Cartoon in the AJ. I have spent the last 30 years working in various aspects of photography/journalism business all across the state. Sent both kids to Texas Tech, son graduated from there daughter transferred to HSU here in Abilene.
Abilene home to Big Oil, Big Wind, Big Hair Women, and me.
I like Fat Tire Beer, Sailor Jerry Rum, 19th century firearms, Hemingway, Steinbeck, Hunter, and motorcycles so fast they make your eyes bleed. I don’t like talk radio, people who feel the need to inject politics or religion in every comversation, and former members of Shermans Army.
I am a happily married man.
That being said, if you need proof that there is a God;
Or that God is a Red Raider fan.

I grew up in Ropesville, graduated from Tech in ‘77 with an Ag. Eco. degree (the 5 yr. plan) and moved back to Ropes to farm. A lot of great memories, biggest downer would be the aggie def back breaking Rodney Allison’s leg when we were rated # 6 the fall of ‘76. My son graduated from Tech in ‘06 w/ an Ag. Houston and Lubbock
Born in Midland, grew up in Houston, now I’m a junior at Tech. I’m majoring in journalism and minoring in political science. My dad was a broadcaster for a few years in the early ‘90s on the Texas Tech Sports Network, so I’ve always had some connections with the University. For those that didn’t know, I also blog and photograph Red Raider sports for the Houston Chronicle’s website as a student fan blogger. It’s excellent to bring even a little Red Raider representation to Chronicle, notorious for its loyalty to UT and A&M (even at the expense of UH and Rice). Feel free to drop in and comment some time.
It would be radical to turn that into a paid position with the Chronicle post-graduation.

Well that's pretty wild.
Who knew there were all these lurkers?
A couple people were talking about Tech ties so it’s time to go into mine is bigger mode, although it’s apparent some of the above claim greater Tech loyalties than even me.
My father’s side of the family is from West Texas. My grandfather went to Lubbock High, both my dad’s sets of grandparents lived in Lubbock and went to Tech (I’m told Doak Hall is named after my great-grandmother - or maybe great great grandmother, I can’t recall - who was also allegedly dean of women at Tech, or something along those lines). My grandmother on my dad’s side went there. My dad and uncle went to Tech for law school, my aunt went there for undergrad, temporarily.
Met my girlfriend in Lubbock, as she also attended Tech, and we’ve been together for four years. Her brother went to Tech, met his wife there. Her sister went to Tech, along with her husband.
Tech tech tech tech tech tech. I preach it.

I hadn’t “heard” about Tech until my junior year of highshool when they were the first school to mail me and say, “hey, come to our event, see the campus, talk to smart people” and went to this 3 day event put on by the honors college for about 20 students. I was a Techsan from that point on. I come from the Rio Grande Valley, 10 hours by car away and only 3 people from my highschool class of 360 wound up at TTU: the valedictorian, the salutatorian, and a tennis player. 3 was a big number.
Grew up a Longhorn and my grandfather thought it was a foregone conclusion that I would be going to UT. Poor guy.
Sister almost became a Techsan as well, but while Tech’s theater program is good, it lacks the “musical” tag that Sam Houston State has available, so she’ll be going there instead.

Graduated ‘89 with B.S. in Elementary Education and Masters of Education (with a kindergarten endorsement) in ‘91. Currently am a “stay at home” mom, if you consider keeping up with three boys -two in high school this year-staying home. I have done computer drafting from home for a professional engineer for 12 years.

Just a big fan....
I was born in Plainview, Tx. Lived in The Wolfforth /Lubbock area until a few years ago. I am a 93 graduate of Frenship High School. I currently live in LaPlace LA. I have been a Tech fan since the Billy Joe Tolliver days at Tech. I guess that’s pretty much it.
Oh and BTW just in case anyone is interested…I run The Myspace Graham Harrell Fan Club. I started it a couple of years back and it’s list of friends and Tech supporters has grown fast. http://www.myspace.com/harrellfans

also in Austin
I’m a tech grad. from 93. I moved to Austin the next year. Actually, TTPilk and I work at the same company, but I’m a better raider fan and employee!!! I grew up in Amarillo but no more of my family lives there. We all moved to Dallas after college. I think we can all agree that UT is populated by the most arrogant, loud mouth, snot-nosed brats on the planet and that they should be universally detested! Living down here amonst them is almost unbearable. I wish John Machovich were still at UT. Now they have a real used car salesman in Mack Brown. I’m looking forward to the drubbing that should be coming to UT this fall.

I was wondering
when you would surface, T. BUT, let me tell you, you are not, nor will ever be a better Red Raider fan than I. Remember your waffling when we discussed Tech’s chances this year of going to a BCS bowl? I BELIEVE! ‘nuff said.
Better employee??, toooo…..?? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…..I, uh…ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,.....can’t…..ha, ha, ha, talk, ha, ha, ha…....

I couldn’t be happier with the way this turned out. I get the feeling that people are really starting to get the itch for some football.

San Antone based Red Raider
Class of 1991 with BA in History, BA in English, and an MA in History. Recently returned to TX from Orange Beach, AL. I’m a Consultant contracted by insurance carriers for process, efficiency, and quality review. My wife is a Red Raider, as is my older sister, and younger brother as well. Football season has been challenging being stuck as the underdog for so long, but I’m hopeful about this year. I am a tried and true Red Raider regardless of underdog status or not. Wife and I have a pic on the Avalanche Journal Sports section of travelling Red Raiders – we’re in front of the Parthenon with our guns up. Hit ‘em Wreck ‘em!

said a bit of myself up above...
I am another Austin person, of sorts. My parents - both Tech grads - live there, although I live in Cleveland/DC now.
I can’t wait for this year’s edition of Tech football… I feel like all the stars have aligned for a truly magical season. We’ll see.

Frisco Red Raider
Graduated from Tech in 2003 from the College of Human Sciences and have been managing the DFW Xerox accounts for the past 5 years. I have been a season ticket holder for the past 5 years and normally make it back for 3-4 games per year. If you are in the DFW area (i’m in frisco) we (my wife and I and about 15 others) normally sit on our patio with a fire and a cold beer and yell at the T.V. when Tech is playing. Feel free to come on over, there’s plenty of room.
Looking forward to a fun year of blood pressure rising.

Red Raider thru an thru
I found this blog by following a link on ESPN and decided to skip lurking and join. I am a 1971 TTU track letterman but left school in 1974 without a degree. My two brothers graduated from TTU. My eldest son gradutated fron Tech this May with a degree in Zoology and is learning to be a “bone popper” in Dallas. My youngest son was admitted to Tech for this fall, but decided to pursue Division III football at Trinity University in San Antonio. I have been hopefull many years for Tech football only to see my dreams dashed. This is the year for Tech to rise to the top! Wreck’em Tech!

Clinton MS Red Raider
I graduated way back in 1981 and I moved to Clinton MS in 1984. I married a beautiful MS lady, and we have 3 kids. 2 boys and a girl. They are 16(boy), 14(girl), and 12(boy). My boys are huge Raider fans and I cemented them as life long fans as we were attendees @ the awesome OK win in Lubbock in Nov. We will be going to the OK State game this year! I’m from a Red Raider family and I have one since I could walk! GO Raiders and I look forward to a great season—have faith we will come thru in 2008! thanks for all the good work Seth!
Just for the record my favorit player is Donny Anderson—most of ya’ll don’t remember him.

Donnie
was a rambling Raider while I was in the Navy (1963-1967), just after I graduated from Monterey HS in Lubbock. I followed him all through the Navy. He, Dave Parks and my favorite, E.J. “The Beast” Holub are my alltime Raider favorites.

California
I graduated from Tech in 2003. I’m a captain in the Army and am scheduled to reside in California for the next 3 years. I had season tickets a couple of years, but unfortunately my work schedule is a little chaotic at times. I hope to attend the Nevada game in Reno and possibly the Texas and A&M games and beers sound like a plan to me. I enjoy the website – thanks.

Current Raider
This seemed like just as good of an excuse as any to go ahead and get signed up. I am currently as graduate student in elec. eng. at TTU. I did my undergrad here as well. Pretty much the only reason I am sticking around for my Ph.D. is so I have an excuse to stay in Lubbock and get into all of the home games for free. I am married to a recently converted Red Raider that is in nursing school over at the TTUHSC.
