Excellent find
and the entire Q&A is great, but I loved this bit:
If anybody watches me play they know I’m passionate about what I do. I don’t take football for granted and I don’t take any of the chances I have for granted. Ruff is the same way. He puts that passion out there. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and that’s what you need for a defense. You need a passionate guy that’s going to be in your face, high five you, tell you when you’re doing good, correct you you’re wrong and show that same passion to you so that it transfers to the field, it transfers to game day, and it transfers to practice. He gives that to the entire defense.
I still have huge hopes for McNeill to change the face of this team to be about both the offense and defense.

Defense
I think with the DC change and last years recruiting class, it’s apparent that the program has seen the light and realizes the importance of a competitive defense. Now, let’s wait and see if that focus translates to the field.
