Texas Tech history
I have been a Texas Tech Red Raider fan since the late 50's. The only other time they have drawn this much attention was the senior year of Rodney Allison (cut short by those dirty Aggies when they broke his leg). The thing about then was that there simply was no one capable of coming in and duplicating Rodney's abilities well enough to match the preseason expectations. This year, however, we have enough depth, even at QB and SE, to enable us to back up the hype. And the "D" is actually getting ink, too. I am so happy to see Tech causing this type of fuss and hope they can match expectations for this year and continue every year after this. GO TECH!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

Why...
...are you here, Beergut?
Is this blog the only way you can be associated with a program that has had success this decade?
I’ve always felt Aggies were scared Tech would pass them by in football, and now we have. With comments I read from Ag’s on various blogs the last few years they never, ever fail to let me down.
