Anyone know when Tech-A&M tix go on sale?

The wife and I are heading down to College Station for the game this year, and I hadn't seen anything on when the tickets will be released to the public, besides the one's being sold on stubhub.com.

And in order to make this post 75 words long, I guess I will give my prediction for the game. I think it's going to be another close one. I will say Tech comes out  on top, 31-27. Anyone else planning on heading down to College Station? I went two years ago and from the nosebleeds, I saw Robert Johnson make one of the most memorable catches I'd ever seen. I was also there in 2002 when the Red Raiders pulled off a comeback win in OT. It's a great place to see a football game if you've never been.

Well...

Tech’s athletic ticket website states, Texas A&M tickets will only be sold to fans with an affiliation to Texas Tech. Please call 888-462-4412 or 742-TECH to order. This clearly solves the problem, haha. It may just be worth calling them.

Being an accountant and famous don't go together. If you're a famous accountant, you probably did something wrong.

who are they worried about buying the tickets?

Is this a way to deter scalpers?

I don’t think that will work, b/c they just need to make a donation, and then they get the access they want.

I think

I think it’s a way to keep Aggie fans from buying what will be a very hot item.

that makes no sense whatsoever

Why the hell would Aggies contact the Tech athletic department for tickets for a game at Kyle Field?
Tech only gets the conference minimum for this game (3000?), which means there are roughly 80k tickets for sale through the A&M ticket office, either as individual tickets or through season ticket sales.

It makes perfect sense...

If the Ag’s sell out what they have avail through A&M it makes perfect sense to see if they can score tickets through Tech. What doesn’t make sense about that? Nebraska fans are notorious for doing just that.

They're on Sale Today

I purchased mine earlier. Yes, you must have an afiliation to Tech (I’m an Alumni and I have an account there, so I guess it’s easy)....
