Dixon does qualify
So all that railing that people did on him was for nothing. He'll be playing in the first game.
Accordingly, they overlooked a credit and that credit let him reach the time required.
I also want to mention that fanshots need to have a "quick thought" option where we can just post text. I don't have a link and I don't want to get a link so I can't write a fanshot, but there isn't enough here for a fanpost.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

Great News for the Raider pass rush
This is outstanding news. The Raider pass rush needs this guy on the field. Just a thought but Tech is overdue for a 9 plus sack leader. My vote is Dixon (most likely) or Sesay (possible). Marlon Williams could and by all rights should keep pace say – 7 plus sacks. Pressure up front causes the opposing teams to blink. Everyone else on the team feeds off this energy. Look out Big 12 the rowdy bunch is about to take the field. Look for the defense to rapidly approach the numbers of take aways the 2005 team generated. Tech is going to shut out somebody in the Big 12 and it won’t be Baylor. Again great news.

This has the potential of making a huge difference
I was crossing my fingers for this kid. Glad to have McKinner back on the team.
Go Tech.
