790 Interview and Stuff
Sorry about the lack of notice for the radio interview on 790 with John Lopez and Ted DeLuca. I actually went on at 11:20 a.m., or thereabouts. They were moving things up because of the hurricane and I wasn’t able to update DTN. That’s the part that stinks about not being able to blog while at work. It just can’t happen. In any event, John said that he’d try to send me the audio of myself, Captain Leach and Pat Knight.
With that being said, I want to thank John for the opportunity for reaching out and having me on his show. It's cool to get recognized and I'm very appreciative of that.
Which by the way, this got me wondering if you guys could come up with a relatively creative nickname for Pat Knight? It just seems silly to type out Pat Knight, when I refer to Leach as Captain Leach. Doesn't seem fair.
I’m leaving nominations in your hands and we’ll put it to a vote once we have 3 or 4 good choices. So long as Pat Knight is the coach, that will be his nickname that you'll see here on DTN. I’d prefer if the nickname was relatively simple, trying to keep away any effects of carpal tunnel. Suggestions and comments welcome.

I like PK. It’s short, but more an abbreviation than a nickname.

Pat Knight
is what Tech needs now, kinda like sleeping beauty needed her gallent knight. Soooooo, how about “Gallent Knight”, or, if you will, “Knight of the Round Table”. But I like “Gallent”. It fits.

He could be known as “The Knight After”. It’s kind of impersonal (I think it’s the word “the”) but I’m still brainstorming…hopefully more to follow.

“The Admiral” might work.
... If he’s good. You can’t very well give a nickname to somebody who loses—not a good nickname, anyway. The team has to turn in rather “Admirable” performances to earn him that.

how about simply Young Knight or Younger Knight until he’s proven he can coach.
Then we can go back to military names.

I guess I just need to accept
the typing part of it. I’m going to have to type Suljagic, Cohadarevic, and Lewandowski for at least a couple of seasons.
I like Lieutenant, Admirable, Young, and Sir. Look for a poll to crop up in the near future (probably this weekend). Still welcoming nominations.
