Leach was displeased by Morris' fumble on a punt return early in the third quarter. Morris, who had a career-high nine catches for 164 yards, had the ball bounce off of his hands and chest, and Eastern Washington recovered.

"I wasn't happy with that punt at all," Leach said. "That's why they don't let coaches go armed on the sideline – for that very reason. And I'm not sure having those Texas Rangers nearby is a good idea, either."
