Slight argument over Tech's Victory
Check out this link to Block U. The author makes a point to drop Tech in his rankings because we didn't kill E Wash. I started a comment chat with him and was curious if you guys agree or disagree. Thanks

Just a note
You will always be beating your head against teams that are pro SEC or PAC 10 no matter who they play or who we play.
Stick to the facts. Point out the other FCS teams and how they finished against FBS teams. That was the strongest argument to show that his logic is lacking.
Make him prove why West Virginia gets his high praise while stinking up the field and really struggling all game long. People just can not get over how bad Michgan is right now as compared to their dominating years. So its a lost cause to go down that road.
Just challenge him to justify his case on the list you gave for FBS teams who did not do as well as Tech on the score board or in Stats against the FSC teams.
Also stay away from the argument that Tech plays 2 FCS teams. I also do not like the fact that we are playing 2 of them in a season. Leach really should not have. Rice or New Mexico State or University or Idaho which is the worst Team in the FBS would be considered a better choice than 2 tough FCS teams. Even North Texas would have been better. So I understand that argument.
Its been an unwritten rule for a long time that FBS teams should only play 1 FCS in a year. Its always frowned upon if a team plays more than one for the obvious reasons.
But Stick to making him be defensive by having to explain his reasoning where their is none. West Virginia is a prime example BYU is another good one with Georgia being the final coupe de grace if you will.
All of which had a equal or worse showing to Tech. Go get him and do not back down. Make him walk the plank for his moronic decisions.
What really burns me
is that he moved KU up 3 spots after beating a terrible Florida International team. FIU is the lowest of the low, even lower than the mediocre FCS teams.
He moved Georgia, WV, and BYU down as well, all who played top FCS teams and won by an average of 25 points. But Kansas gets rewarded for a 30 point win over FIU? Doesn’t make sense on any level.
There's
no need for me to show up and I think you guys did a great job of talking about his BlogPoll without getting personal. Again, this is the great thing about the BlogPoll is that you’re out there to be criticized and you’ve got to defend your picks. This makes it better than the traditional media alone. Again, some folks are willing to be be swayed, while others may not, but at least you put out the argument one way or another.
Good job.
Go Raiders . . .
