I'm not sure
if anyone else is paying attention, but EWU is up 21 to 14 on Colorado. Again, EWU is a good football team with a good coach. One of EWU’s TD’s was a Hawkins interception return.

I have
the box score up right now. I would LOVE for them to beat Colorado. This would definitely help Tech’s win last week.

Mixed feelings
While I would like to show that EWU is a strong team and that the Tech win was a quality win, I also want the Big Xii to look good. Not sure which way I want this one to go.

OU
Oklahoma is going to win this game because of mistakes by Cincinatti, but the Bearcats are making the Sooner secondary look bad. Not to mention Bradford has not looked very sharp. Could be good news for Tech come November.

A&M
is only up 14-7 towards the end of the 2nd. That would be another great loss too.

Goodson went out with a knee injury, too.
Too bad New Mexico’s defense is somehow worse than A&M’s. Also, too bad about that BS roughing the passer call that led to another A&M TD.

UNM won that game
Everywhere but the scoreboard. Yards, plays, etc. Just couldn’t get it done. Impressed with the Lobos, or is it just that unimpressive an Aggie squad?

EWU
:( nichols throws a pick 6 while trying to put together a game-winning drive. EWU loses 31-24.

Well I guess
Colorado winning is both good and bad as NM99 posted. The Big 12 getting the win is nice and it also shows that Tech winning by what they did wasn’t such a bad thing after all.

BYU looked ok, but Washington got the screw on that one.
My mid-major ranking:
1. ECU
2. BYU
3. Utah
4. Fresno State.
beyond that… we’ll see how houston does against OSU today.

CU almost blew it.
Had to get a turnover touchdown to pull off the win vs. EWU. Think that does the purposes as stated earlier. XII wins, but Tech looks better for the score in the game last week.

This video feed sucks.
First, the CSD account didn’t work, so I had to give $9 more to Nevada’s site to watch. Then, the video buffers more than it actually plays, and it’s one or two MINUTES behind the radio broadcast.
I’m getting my money back from both sites.

It is a Leach offense. Once they get the tempo going they will start clicking. Can’t afford to do this against better competition.

i am so incredibly
frustrated with Harrell. everything is going horizontal, nothing over the middle or down the field.

Who is this team???????
Why are we so damn inconsistent? I think you gotta blame coaching on the slop……
by 2001Raider on Sep 6, 2008 10:14 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
I agree. John Bible, and the coaching. And Graham. And the line. And the running backs.

Field Position
Leach really needs to learn how to manage field position better than he does. Not punting again inside own 30 is stupid

We don’t deserve to be a Top 25 team, much less Top 15.

Being an accountant and famous don't go together. If you're a famous accountant, you probably did something wrong.

definitely
the D is being forced to cover for a whole lot of bullshit and stupidity, and are doing a yeoman’s job of it

If we aren't careful
this one could very likely be our annual loss-to-a-crap team. Oh, wait, you all knew that already : )

things i haven’t see: screen passes, short outs, swing passes, short crossing routes.
our short game is nonexistent and all i’ve seen is a lot of harrell overthrowing guys.
