I think
If we win this game, we’re going to look back and realize that we should have lost this game.
but 371 yards allowed after 3 quarters

10
first downs through three qtrs. Okay, I’m officially worried about this team. In just about two full games they’ve sputtered up and down the field in fits and spurts. Remember in the spring and fall how our defense owned the offense and everyone was excited about Ruffin’s new attitude? Could it be that the offense somehow fell back a few paces since the Gator Bowl – which was an ugly game, as well…
He’s not even the best QB in the Big 12 south

Put in Potts
I’m not jumping off any bandwagons, but Potts can’t be any worse at this point.
After all is said and done, more is said than done.
38% completion rate
I agree, sit him Graham for a series to get him pissed off and out to prove something.
underthrown pass
crabs goes back to gets it, the db tries to grab crab’s jersey, crabs spins around and runs 40 yards (?) for a td
Go Raiders . . .
what good is our defensive end staying at home for that zone read when he still can’t get to the qb when the qb takes off?
so that's the
2nd big pass that Wall has given up this year (last week against EWU)

I think Jamar loses his concentration sometimes

WOW....a pass that was thrown
on the money to the reciever in stride without to much air under it….maybe our “heisman” candidate should take notes
Raider faithful

radio or the podcast?
It's like a bacon and eggs breakfast. The chicken is involved, but the pig is committed.
Listening to Big Spring
fmx is going stupid. try www.kbst.com/news.php it’s a little behind but can still hear the broadcast

"a lot of pressure coming now"
as opposed to the other three and a half quarters when Harrell has had all the time in the world?
leach must've
run into some of that west coast dank nug to put in a performance this distracted and underwhelming

Another BAD pass........
They look like punts more than passes…..I think they’re hanging in the air higher than the lights
that is a manufactured touchdown
we struggled through our own crap to end up scoring
Go Raiders . . .
Okay, so we'll win yet another fugly
but the last two posessions have been more like what we expect, wouldn’t you all say?
Lots of rushing attempts this game

given Harrell's performance
It’s probably the best adjustment the coaching staff has made all night

Harrell is 18/45 and still has almost 300 yards
hahaha, it’s his worst game since Missouri-06, and he still may throw for over 300 yards.

something to keep in mind
when you have injured players, it may take someone off STs
if you’re putting a backup on STs, a penalty isn’t uncommon
they may not get much practice on that squad, you never know
not saying this is the case here, just saying….
Saying it now, McNeil is a great person to have on the staff, but he is not the best D-Coordinator we could have gotten.
I'll take him
over the black hole of suck that he replaced

I kind of agree. He’s improved our run defense for sure, but at the cost of showing everybody how poor our pass defense really was.
It’s easier to exploit a weak pass defense than a weak rush defense. Teams in the Big XII will take advantage.
After all is said and done, more is said than done.
no joke
given the aggressive pass offenses we’ll be facing, I’d prefer teams be under the impression that they need to keep it on the ground to control the clock instead of knowing they can make our secondary look like a bunch of confused JV scrubs

not sure how much difference that will make
honestly, don’t think most teams want to get into a shootout with Tech
keep it on the ground, run the clock, only pass when you need to
that will still be the offensive gameplan against Tech
I’ve figured it out.
Tech will never play to expectations. If you expect a lot, they will under-produce. If you expect little, they will surprise you. There is no way to consistently and accurately guess how Tech will perform.
You’d think it was an on-field personnel issue, certain players having certain mindsets. After 8+ years, maybe it’s just Leach?

Or Crabtree with over 150 yards
It's like a bacon and eggs breakfast. The chicken is involved, but the pig is committed.
he's still
under 10 receptions on the game, even though he’s definitely been an impact player. Get Harrell to quit overthrowing him and this would change in one offensive series

It's official
Tech’s defense records its first win in over eight years.

thanks for coming by DTN
and I appreciated the in-game banter. Just think, you guys were the first to force a 2nd game day thread, but I can’t spell thread correctly. Analysis tomorrow. Peace out.
Go Raiders . . .
See everyone at the game next week. I will be in Sec 5
If anyone has seats close to there let me know
congrats on the W
I figured this Nevada team would be a big test for y’all
previous teams would have lost this game
keep the in mind
don't get me wrong
I’m thrilled to see running back by committee generating points, yards, first downs, and eating clock. That’s somewhat tempered knowing it happened because our bread and butter was totally and completely nonexistent
i've got a list of them
and you could start with colorado the past two years, an OSU loss, a new mexico loss, etc. This was not the worst game in two years.
Go Raiders . . .
Later Yall
Raider Power.
