Keys to the Game:
- Slap The Floor: I think the problem started defensively out front with the guards moving their feet and staying in front of TCU. Baylor is going to be on a different level in terms of guard play and everyone on the lineup has got to stay in front of their man or play some unbelievable help defense.
- Return of Rizvic: I'm not looking for center Esmir Rizvic to have a huge impact, but because Trevor Cook and Damir Suljagic are both out until next week, Rizvic could play an important role today as both Diene and Lomers are big guys in the middle and Lewandowski can't do it alone.
- Someone Has To Step Up: The more further the season progresses the more I think that someone has got to step up and be "the guy" for this team. It would be nice if it were Alan Voskuil, but I think that his points depend largely on how well his teammates set him up, and the more I think about it, the more I think that establishing Singletary as a scorer might not be a bad move.

Singletary
is a horse. I saw it in the high school allstar game. He has a huge amount of potential, if Pat Knight can just set up the offense to work in his favor. Expect him to really blossom into one of Tech’s best.

He's just a little undersized
and that can sometimes be a problem. It depends on matchup, but he could really be a guy that could establish something inside, if not it might be Lewandowski.

Baylor guards
have quick hands. We need to wake up and make them play honest.
And our outside shooting is terrible

Turnovers and poor outside shooting kill us. They were playing pretty good defense, but didn’t take care of the ball. We went ahead by taking the ball to the basket and then started forcing outside shots again. I don’t get it.

We give Knigh Junior another year max
Kinght Junior hasn’t done even a decent job of getting this team ready for the season. The coaches at Baylor and Texas A&M did much better jobs of getting their teams ready to play after they were hired last year. They were also in a position similar to Knight, where they didn’t have enough time to recruit and had to do with existing talent pool. Yet, their teams were competent and well coached, an impression you don’t see watching our team. The new coach at K-State also did a great job of getting his team ready. Why could Pat Knight have done a similar job with our team? I mean I didn’t expect a win against Baylor yesterday, not did I expect a win against then 4th ranked Pittsburgh, but losses to UTEP, TCU and Lamar? I think this is unacceptable and we shouldn’t give him more than one season if he doesn’t improve

Well, Turgeon was
new at A&M, but you could also say that he had Sweet 16 talent returning because of Gillespie. Meanwhile, Drew has been at Baylor since 2003, so it’s really not a similar situation. In fact, Drew went 3-13 his first year in conference, 1-15 in his second year, and then things started to improve.
