Keys to the Game:
- Pray: KenPom gives Texas Tech a 3% chance of winning this game. Say a sweet thought to the diety of your choosing, but maybe specifically pray that Voskuil, Singletary and Roberson all have the games of their lives.
- Slow The Fast Break: As noted above, the Tigers are averaging almost 20 assists a game and although Junior Knight likes to run, this might be a situation where the Red Raiders try and control the tempo for more of a half-court game.
- Let Cook Be Healthy: Considering Missouri is averaging almost 40 rebounds a game, this would be a great game for Trevor Cook to make a return. Cook offers so much more than Suljagic and Cohadarevic, although Suljagic can play good defense. Quite simply, Cook is a better overall player and an offensive threat.

Per KenPom
Tech is at best only an average NCAA basketball team. That will not even get you a .500 record today. Little improvement this year is a probability. Next year, they will really need to improve a whole bunch to hope for a shot at the post-season playoffs, NIT or NCAA.

We played a much better game today than I expected. Turnovers were the difference maker in this game, without them (or with a normal number), we would have been close. I thought that we played a good game defensively, did great with rebounds, and the “system” is working. Our players are getting great looks and it’s a matter of finishing, but they looked a lot better today than against Colorado.
