Has anyone resorted to buying Jerry World tix in Baylor section?

I know we have a dedicated post for buying and selling tickets, but I was affraid many of you may not check that thread unless you needed tickets soon.  SO, I have been remodeling my house and a rent house and couldn't afford to buy my Baylor, KU, and OSU (away) tickets until now, however, Tech's allotment for Jerry World are sold out, directs me to Ticketmaster, which sends me back to Tech.  There are  none on Stubhub, but Baylor's official site has the quantity and price range I want ($60, I'm taking 4 people).  A.) Is there ANYWHERE else from which I can purchase my tickets?  B.)  Would it be right proper to buy my tix from Baylor and plant my big, fat, Catholic, Scarlet and Black clad arse amongst the Fightin' Baptists?  Will they try to "SAVE" me :) Just kidding, we're all Texans here.  Seriously.....JUST joking.  Anyway, I'm in a pickle here because we're suppused to take the in-laws and we already have scheduled a stadium tour for the Friday before the game so I would really be persona non grata around casa del Plano Jeff if I have to resort to throwing up a Hail Mary for scalped tickets.  HELP! (please)

We wanted tickets together also but had to wait to long. We got 4 tickets together in baylors section for the 60.00 ticket price so you won’t be alone. I and don’t feel bad at all sitting in there section cheering for tech.

OK so what I figured is this:

There are tix on stubhub and even Tech side( gotta look under Baylor, Duh), BUT they seem to be way more expensive than if you just buy from BU. So we’re going for the 40 or 60 buck tix. I sure appreciate the help guys.

I too bought some of the $40 Baylor tickets. I did get row 3, so i’m not complaining too much. It seems like the Tech allotment was sold out before anyone had a chance to buy any. Hopefully, though, there will be plenty of red and black in the Baylor section since there is so much alumni in the metroplex.

2 mile walk

I heard (on local radio) that it was worth the two mile walk to your car rather than waiting in the two/three hour traffic jam, and cheaper…

I'm not worthy. Really.

I'm in the

same boat as the rest of you guys. I think there’s about 10 of us and we’re going to be in the Baylor section.

I'm on Tech side for the game (nose bleed) but Baylor tailgating lot

I couldn’t get a parking pass for the Tech tailgating so I had to Baylor’s lot. I’m assuming it will be most Tech people anyway. Anybody wanting to tailgate before the game can join us.

Hey Plano Jeff...

I’m a Baptist Red Raider and my sister went to Baylor back in th 80’s and they gave up that “Baptist” thing a long time ago(Haha). Anyway, I say buy the tickets and don’t feel bad at all!!!! It will be a lot of TTech folks there I’m sure. I bought tickets in the TTech section on the first day and we ended up with good seats! Can wait to see Jerry’s World in person. Wreck’Em Tech!!!!

Yea, I was just getting in a little jab.

I had a frat bro, grandparents gave he and his sister $150k each for college(lucky punk) anyway, she went to Baylor, majored in Elementary Ed, spent every dime. He went to Tech, bought a new truck, payed frat dues, partied hard, got a business degree and had $50 or $60 grand left when he graduated.

I’m thinking about parking “long” and taking a cab, but I worry it will be hard to cat h a cab to leave. I guess I’ll just have to pay the $75 for parking.
