ESPN - Texas Tech is toughest stadium?
There is an ESPN article that is in their insider section that talks about the recent success of the Texas Tech football team at home and makes a case for the advantage it gives the Red Raiders... if you are an insider it will be an interesting read. Wreck Em Tech beat the Aggies!

The Jones'
I think there is no doubt, just look @ our home record since Leach has been @ TTech. Even in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s , and 90’s it was always a tough place to beat TTech. Now though it is really crazy. I have attended games the last 2 years there and I think half the stadium in the ground helps the sound stay in. I also how the students are spread all around on the lower levels and they are “crazy”! I like that the band is still behind the opponents bench( as it has for years). Wreck’Em Tech

I refuse to pay for a website. They sell ads just like radio and tv so what is the stuff you’re peddling on the free side? Crap? It’s like the car dealer who sells the Escalade for 15k off at the end of the year. So you’re telling me you’re f@&$ing me over for the tune of 15k if I bought the car last month? Sorry, little cheap, like Daddy before me.

I agree I hate pay sites too...
However in defense of ESPN, the portion of the site that you have to pay for isn’t that big of a ripoff. If you have a subscription to ESPN the magazine it is free, so get a subscription to the magazine for $25 and get the magazine 26 times a year and never again will you deal with an “amazing” article staring you down on the other side of a password

My wife, kiddo, and I made a day trip to Lubbock Thursday.....
Sweet Jesus I miss the Hub City!! We had a great time. Forgot how much fun it was to live in Lubbock. I also forgot how much I love Crickets and Bash Riprocks……
I miss beer in LBK…
I really miss the Jones though. We drove by and I was damn near in tears!!

Never forget....
in the late 60’s I think they added the neon double T on the East side…..awesome, then when we got the double T scoreboard— still nothing like it in any stadium in the country!!!!! Wreck’Em Tech

On a side note, I purchased a new game day shirt in Lubbock Thursday
I’m wearing it today and if the outcome of the game is positive, my old one will be replaced.
And yes, if the un-thinkable happens then it is entirely my fault.

Well, so much for that theory. Meh. Of course, it is just one game. By my Lord, what a game. Whipped, not just beat.
