Unfortunate for him after making a stupid decision.

Really makes me wonder if there’s not something else involved……

so much for “student” athlete. he is leaving school in the middle of the semester to train for the draft.

I would too…his goal isn’t to be a CEO, it’s to be an NFL receiver. Time to get to work on that now.

I don't like seeing promising college careers cut short
but honestly I think this may help him in the draft, because scouts have always been in love with his measurables and were just waiting for his performance on the field to blow up in Crabtree-esque (Crabtree-ian?) manner. Now, instead of actually having to live up to those unrealistic expectations, he can allow potential NFL employers to more or less fill in the blank that is the remainder of Dez Bryant’s 2009 season.

This is stupid, totally stupid. I don’t think, at this point, there is more involved. I think in its normal heavy-handed way, the NCAA is exerting its control over the student athletes. I really wonder who’s interests they are protecting with some of their decisions. I am NOT an Okie State fan at all, but I think they are getting bent on this one.
