ok well here we go
wish I’d made it out to the Jones today but I’m doing my best Martha Stewart impression in preparation for the sister-in-law’s birthday party tonight
yeah he's definitely got the jitters
he’s hesitating and trying to force big plays that aren’t there
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 2:40 PM CDT up reply actions
Pink Raiders
Nice to see a good portion of the nation will see that most of our fan base is comprised of fair weather fans…way to pack the Jones.
probably see a bit more of that the second offensive series
Leach was probably curious to see how Doege would react
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 2:43 PM CDT up reply actions
Daniel Howard just ran himself out of a play
hopefully he can tone that down a bit, Reesing will kill you if he breaks contain
looks like we're playing cover 3
not sure about that early on, Kansas is more likely to nibble you to death than kill you with big plays
nice
Good set on that one Ruff! (and GREAT job D)
let the record show that I am not a member of the KU punt coverage unit
I don’t deserve this kind of cardiac abuse

let’s see if this doege kid is going to be a viable option…not so much on the first series, but let’s see…
he'll settle down I think
he looked about the same as he did when he came in against K-State

>_<
See… that kinda thing is why I question our line. _
the more I watch this...
the less I’m worried about graduations on the O-Line
if I were behind that line
my feet would be positively joyous

Defense
Won’t get pressure….. Why can’t we gamble more?
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:00 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
Well, to expect our third stringer to come in and play lights out is totally unfair to this kid…I give him a free pass on anything he does. He’s a RS fresh, and third striing. I am guessing that until two weeks ago, he didn’t get but a few reps a week.
Where is the
Fat little gf section?
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:02 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
Well if they can just sack Reesing every play
that should go a long way toward helping us out
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:04 PM CDT up reply actions
NICE
yes… keep up the pressure, you guys are needed
After years of...
making due with Aaron Hunt, Adell Duckett, Big Fred
I am so gratefulfor having atual talent at D-line with Sharpe, Whitlock, Henley, and co.
ya know...
got a LONG ways to go, but if nothing else I’m impressed by Russell’s work with the special teams so far.
Batch
Didn’t wait for blocks
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:06 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
Good D there
Now the O needs to RUN. THE. BALL
settle down
how are you going to run the ball on 3rd and 12
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:09 PM CDT up reply actions
Sharpe's playing out of his mind right now though
for now that’s enough
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:10 PM CDT up reply actions
i think i would rather see Potts
than watch Doege. They need to RUN. I wanna hear Batch, Jeffers, Stephens
goddamn man
guess what, QB isn’t the problem. About to get irritated up in here.
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:11 PM CDT up reply actions
lack of arm strength
and I agree with you….see my prior posts, halse. O line (and defense, although today they look decent)
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:12 PM CDT up reply actions
Sheffield, get well soon
and O line……GROW A PAIR
Blitzing works
Call them more
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:12 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
wtf?
“a HIGH bright sky”? nice announcing there
ABC's like NASA
they’ll send a poet up there one of these days…
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:15 PM CDT up reply actions
The O-line isn't executing in any phase of the game
no reason to expect that giving another skill player to get tackled behind the LOS is going to solve anything
YEAH!!!!
FINALLY someone can catch more than 5 yds out!
Doege sure isn't afraid to throw deep.
I’m about to officially induct him into the Sexy Rexy Memorial “Fuck It I’m Goin’ Deep” Fraternal Order of Gunslingaz
I guess
now we’ll see how KU does with the wind in their face
hope you arent there in July...
I’m guessing you do not reside in Cali, then?
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:22 PM CDT up reply actions
San Bernadino county is one of the most horrid places in America
when going down to Victorville, Riverside, or Ontario, CA is your idea of civilization, you’re in trouble. I wasted two years of my life there.

Guys, easy on the graphics…these game threads get very long and the images take up too much space. I’ll post a new thread if this one bogs down a little…but it will make that not an issue without the images and video. Thanks!!!
We're playing their option pretty well
that hasn’t always been the case in the past. Cody Davis is going to knock Jake Sharp out of this game if he ever makes solid contact
if you ever make it to SF, post and we can connect
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:24 PM CDT up reply actions
not alot of Red Raiders out here
lots of Longhorns, though….go figure
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:26 PM CDT up reply actions
I saw the Rangers when they played in SF…nice stadium/park
by redraider4311 on Oct 31, 2009 3:28 PM CDT up reply actions
K, we went up there last summer……great time!
by redraider4311 on Oct 31, 2009 3:25 PM CDT up reply actions
Same thing.....Mill Valley nicer than Sausilito, but not quite Tiburon
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:26 PM CDT up reply actions
not yet...but it is a small world here, so only a matter of time I am sure
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:27 PM CDT up reply actions
ya'll are all ahead of me
glad to hear it….
to be fair
He was kinda playing with “house money” anyway after the call on the incomplete pass
nah, not yet. game is still up for grabs…maybe doege settles down a little…of course, that line will be any QBs undoing at this point. Abysmal.
heh
with pass protection like Doege’s getting, Potts better be ready to step in at any moment
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:36 PM CDT up reply actions
O-Line needs to spend the summer in the sandpit
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:39 PM CDT up reply actions
what?
What was with the one back lined up over the LoS?
Why no juco
OL guys to fill the gaps?
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:40 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
Not
Compared to what is in the pipeline
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:44 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions
nice time to show that stat ABC
And now they get their first snap in our territory. _
all this year, at least
I confused him with Henley a few times in the Rice and ND games, as Henley used to be the dude on our line with long hair
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:43 PM CDT up reply actions
???
can they review a bad call on a fumble? I thought that was one that’s not reviewable.
in college ball
all plays are subject to review by the booth
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:45 PM CDT up reply actions
After that massive break we caught with an incomplete pass call
I can’t get too upset about that one not going our way
What an idiotic statement by the announcer
Brandstaeter kicked a 57 yarder last week, and you’re going to say he doesn’t have the leg?
he had the distance
but it wasn’t dialed in
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:48 PM CDT up reply actions
Hot
Damn…..leach needs to help doege
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:47 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
I'm starting to like him
obviously he is not afraid to get hit
by redraider2002 on Oct 31, 2009 3:52 PM CDT up reply actions
Matt Moore's
back to the drawing board. Again.
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:53 PM CDT up reply actions
Doege
Should have seen that blitz. They really telegraphed it.
OU
Will have 20 sacks against us
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:56 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
hmm...
would’ve been better if he could’ve got the score, hopefully our Offense can deliver from 5 yds out
budget cuts are a bitch
but let’s time we’ll try and charter an appropriately sized airplane
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 3:59 PM CDT up reply actions
Doege needs to
Get rid of the ball in 2 seconds
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 3:59 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
We need Jeffers in motion
And throw the screen to him every 3 plays or so
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 4:00 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
I think the reason we're not seeing the Jeffers package much
is that Doege hasn’t had much time to practice taking snaps from under center as part of the 1st team unit.
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 4:02 PM CDT up reply actions
I'd rather have the change in momentum
and already be 30 yards downfield on offense
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 4:07 PM CDT up reply actions
True
But I never get upset when we get a stop of any kind from our D.
by BTownTechster on Oct 31, 2009 4:08 PM CDT up reply actions
well...
As long as he doesn’t get us penalized or get himself kicked out, I LOVE the enthusiasm from Ruff on that one. Him getting on the ref was hilarious
POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!
y’all left it out there
>_<
oh you have GOT to be kidding me
(OK, that one was ALL on Doege, he needs to get rid of it or run by then)
Too bad
two of them went for the other team.
by BTownTechster on Oct 31, 2009 4:10 PM CDT up reply actions
not Leach's fault
Doege held on to that ball for an hour and a half
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 4:11 PM CDT up reply actions
Agreed.
Potts wouldn’t do any better under this pressure.
by BTownTechster on Oct 31, 2009 4:12 PM CDT up reply actions
well
His dream is to be a pro wrestler, and they have a life expectancy of about 45, so I think he might dodge that particular bullet
by mojavereject on Oct 31, 2009 4:13 PM CDT up reply actions
lookie there
Hey, it’s Carter, remember that discussio on here about players playing through injuries even if it might be bad for them long term…
Leach has had
A shorty 1st half
by oldschoolraider on Oct 31, 2009 4:13 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
alright
well, all things considered, not too bad, let’s see some good adjustments on Offense (would rather need them there than on Defesnse) and win it in the 2nd half.
Aside from the D
that half basically sucked.
I'm just glad we're still in it
I had serious concerns about the defense being able to keep KU from scoring, and aside from two awful turnovers, they’ve been lights out
