Well, to expect our third stringer to come in and play lights out is totally unfair to this kid…I give him a free pass on anything he does. He’s a RS fresh, and third striing. I am guessing that until two weeks ago, he didn’t get but a few reps a week.

The O-line isn't executing in any phase of the game
no reason to expect that giving another skill player to get tackled behind the LOS is going to solve anything

I think the reason we're not seeing the Jeffers package much
is that Doege hasn’t had much time to practice taking snaps from under center as part of the 1st team unit.

I had serious concerns about the defense being able to keep KU from scoring, and aside from two awful turnovers, they’ve been lights out
