Game gifs
So when the game is on ABC, I can record it for this process. Since I want this to be a fanpost, I'll explain my process.
Basically, I convert the game files from my recording, cut them up with virtualdub, import them into Photoshop, resize and cut one of every 2, 2 of 3, or 3 of 4 frames, and save it to gif.
The most time consuming part is converting the files. Usually that's because each one (about 15-20 minutes of video) takes up around 2-5 gigs of space. I use my 1.5 TB drive to hold them, so I'm not too worried about running out of space, but I make sure to clear out the leftovers before the next weekend.
More gifs will be in the comments as I can put em together:
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Double-T Nation's writers or editors.

I would like to thank all the
LFGF ( Little Fat Girl Friends ) for letting the Team know how bad they SUCKED last week!
And letting them know no more shaky puttin unless they win.
Thanks again LFGF
the stadium looks awesome except its largely empty. And it looked like a ton of people left early. What for? What is going on in Lubbock at 5 in the afternoon on a saturday better than watching football?
The entire frat in front of me in the South endzone left at halftime
and saw alot of students sitting during the game. I was very disappointed in our fan base saturday. It was as if the SGA saying that we should be “less intimidating” after the aTm game got to alot of people. I got asked to be quiet when yelling at opening kickoff. What?! And then a guy got kicked out for throwing their go ahead extra point over the wall, and then the few that flipped off the guard that did it got thrown out too. It just seems like we are supposed to sit there quietly and do homework during the game. But also, I walked into the student section 10 minutes before (tailgate was good haha) and there were only 4000 students in already. It seems like all of the underclassmen are fairweatherfans like none other.
More disappointing
was the fact that some girls wore shirts that said “fat little girlfriend” and they werent allowed in.
Halloween!
A lot of people left early for Halloween. Lubbock is a scary town :). Hopefully this will all change once we get to tier one status and there is more ownership and pride of this great school in this city. It’s already happening and I bet in a few more years Jones has to expand capacity as our program grows and matures into a solid powerhouse program in Texas.
No
Your best two are the ones at the top. Hell of a hit, and hell of a body… haha You just captured my two favorite things in football.
yeah, hopefully it was clear i was talking about the first video of the dancing girls and not the video of Jamar Wall! (forgot the team was in their black pants this week)
trust me, you don’t want to see any more of holley rowe’s head than that.
basically, the Longhorns brought these big banner things and set them up on the sidelines. It blocked the fans in the front row from throwing things and taunting the longhorn players on the bench and apparently reduced the intimidating factor of the shitty design that is boone pickens stadium.
As a person who works with Photo Shop
daily; I salute you.
Very good work.
You make it sound like your just pushing button to make this happen.
I know better.
Be careful not to let it ruin your enjoyment of watching the game.
As a guy who spent a few years as a side line photographer, I know that can happen.
VIVA LA FIGA!
Requests?
Are you taking requests? Cause that hit by Henley in the first half was pretty awesome too… it was a run right up the middle and he just flattened the RB. If you’d be willing to make the gif and don’t recall the hit I’m talking about I’d be willing to go back on my DVR and pull up what time in the game it was exactly.
Doege haveth arm-cannon!!

Raider!
Seeing this game on tv made us (fans) look pathetic. The atm game wasn’t televised so I dont know what the new seating looked like. If it was full, then it probably didn’t stay that way for long. The kansas game is on ABC around the country and we can’t fill our own stadium? I just dont get it. Do Texas Tech fans/students/alums/faculty/etc have something better to do? Do we as a UNIVERSITY want to keep Mike Leach? Apparently not. No wonder the guy interviews everywhere. We don’t support him and the team like we should. Look at Penn. St., Ohio St., Nebraska, OU, TX, Michigan, Florida, LSU, USC, Oregon, ND… Big programs, big names, full stadiums. Now look at Clemson, South Carolina, Auburn, BOISE (for cryin’ out loud), Purdue, etc smaller names… BUT THEY STILL FILL THE SEATS! Why should Texas Tech University be any different?
I know what ya’ll are saying… It’s Texas Tech, blah, blah blah… Been there done that. Get off the couch, go to the game and cheer on YOUR RED RAIDERS. I’m sick and tired of Lubbock people (among others) be fairweather johnsons. Get your butts to the game.
