Cotton Bowl?
If EVERYTHING were to work out, UT’s in the Championship or a BCS bowl, maybe OK St. in a BCS bowl. ..If K St. can beat Nebraska, that would put us as 3rd best in the league, right? …at least no worse than the Holiday Bowl unless Nebraska wins and OK St. doesn’t get into the BCS. Of course all assuming we win vs. da Bears.

I’m pretty sure it started in the 90s, Florida used to(?) throw oranges to note they wanted to go to the Orange bowl, some team around here (UT?) threw Cotton to show excitement for the Cotton Bowl. Our guys wanted something to do, tortillas were cheap and “TexMex” kinda thing, so people started taking them to games and throwing them up in the air.
AFAIK, that’s the background of it.

I think this game shows that if you give him time, “Nick” can do pretty well. Not saying he’s unstoppable, but he can run the offense pretty well if you give him protection.
